Hello, I’d like to suggest another funny that shows up on Canadian tech-tree suggestions, a funny in the way of an ENTAC armed jeep.

History:
Canada would order approximately 2,000 ENTAC (ENgin Téléguidé AntiChar) Mod.58 (Model 130_58) missiles in 1959, which would be delivered between 1960 and 1963. The dual launcher kits Canada had gotten could be set up either on the ground or fitted to a vehicle and connected up to the TR10 remote control launcher, which used MCLOS to guide the missile. Leading to the operator having to guide the missiles with the joystick on the controller box with a pair of fixed binoculars. The Canadian Army would use the same ENTAC dual mount kit as used by the French on the M201, which would allow the dual launchers to be folded into the cargo bay of the vehicle for travel and then swing back to fire.

The Canadian Army would use the M38A1 CDN (ENTAC) as an anti-tank guided missile carrier from 1963 to 1975. During that time, it served as the primary anti-tank guided missile launcher vehicle for the anti-tank platoons of the infantry battalions. They would serve Canada in the units located both in West Germany and in Canada. The vehicle would be armed with a pair of dual ENTAC swing launchers, allowing it to have 4 missiles ready to fire, with two on each side. Extra missiles would either be carried in the vehicle itself with a max of 3 extra or on a M100 CDN trailer which had another 4 missiles it would often carrier. It would only have a crew of two, with one being the driver and the other being the commander/weapons operator. They’d proceed to be replaced by M113A1 SS.11B1 Anti-tank Guided Missile Carrier and later M113A1 TOW Anti-tank Guided Missile Carrier & M151A2 (TOW).

There’d be other projects to mount the ENTAC swing launcher kit, namely on a Ferret and M37 CDN. Sadly, neither project was adopted for use on either platform by Canada. The M37 CDN would instead be fitted with the SS.11B1, and the Ferret would be converted back to normal.
