Cool tank but Gaijin will almost certainly put it at a br where it would be a pain to play and/or make it non tech tree. Im still pissed off about the amx13 at 6.7s and only the worst ebr being in the tech tree at f’ing 5.3…

i’m sure this would be fine around 4.7 - 5.3, it shouldn’t suffer too horribly considering the m24 has decent mobility and that french gun isn’t bad, neither is the ammo honestly, you just need to know where to shoot

with the amx13 being 6.7 and the m24 chassis having better reverse it will surely be at 7.0 or 7.3 and thus absolutely unplayable

absolutely not. i believe the highest it’ll get is 5.7, it has the same gun and ammo as the M4A1 (FL10) which is at 5.0. it has the same turret, same gun, same ammo. the E.B.R. (1954) which is at 6.7 has exactly the same stuff. i believe if it is added that they will put it much lower than the E.B.R. (1954).

You really underestimate Gaijin’s insanity when it comes to balancing vehicles, especially french mid tier tanks. I mean come on look at the amx-13, the EBR 1951, Char 25t, amx-13 HOT, etc… all way too overtiered and unbalanced

i understand your point, however, i’m just stating a personal opinion as i personally don’t believe it’ll end up past 5.7 simply because the counterpart which is the AMX-13-M24 is at 3.7.

+1, as the amx13 keep getting higher and higher because of their mobility, this would be a really good 5.~ alternative.
Why not tech tree? It’d go great with France’s 5.7 lineup.

Well the AMX-M24 only has a 75mm M6.
I’d say this is perfect for exactly 5.7, being lower profile and more mobile than the M4 FL10 while also presumably having POT-51P, but less mobile and protected than the actual AMX-13

Personally, I don’t see a world where this isn’t 6.7 along side the AMX-13. A side grade isn’t worthy of a lower BR, and if it is, Gaijin is admitting the AMX-13 is overtiered.
Maybe if it lacks the upgraded shell it could be 6.3, but there’s no way the AMX platform is better than the M24 platform.
If that’s the case, why should the AMX-13 be at 6.7 when it will be worse than this tank due to being having a worse platform?
it has better ammo.
