The L3 is one of the worst tanks in the game.

Of course one of the reason is the horrible post-pen damage of the 20mm APHE, which is funny since the 20mm of the T-60 deals more damage, being modeled as solid shot.

You can not reliably disable a tank from the side, shooting driver, transmission or engine because the damage is just too bad.

Yep. Sometimes it can oneshoot.

Ok so the L3/33 is cool and friendly 92% of the time
the m22 is rude rat friendly 30% of the time and 96% of the time has a fratbrams friend near him killing you

Sound Mod exists for it. Should still work given there weren’t any recent changes to the file name.

Sometimes is not good enough. And why aim for small 37-45mm rounds inside a tank when every other tank can just one shot by knocking out the crew.
Not to mention they might not even have ammo that you can easily target.

5/10 you open fire against a tanks side and they turn around and take you out.
Which is already your best chance of taking out an enemy before they manage to kill you.

IMHO, taking a penetrating hit into the crew compartment should stun the crew and disable control of the tank for at least few seconds.

Figures. People here don’t actually want to play a game reproducing armoured warfare but the same 3rd person shooter styled as a tank game, as World of Tanks, but still want to feel superior to "those plebs and their tanks with health points, pfff, amr guys? ". ;)

The only reason that was voted against is that if you’re being hit several times over you’re going to be stunned locked unable to do much. You’re dead or you have a dead crew member. No matter how you put it stun locking would only make the game more painful than it currently is.

If by “painful” you mean “less forgiving”, then I (and some others) are okay with it.
Let’s consider this scenario: you have outsmarted the enemy player and ambushed him and got the first shot into his side armour. Right now the game teaches the player to try and hit either the gun breech or the gunner, because otherwise there is a real chance that enemy will just turn his turret and shoot and probably kill you, in a situation where IRL a disoriented and confused crew would need at least several seconds to process what just happened and why there is shrapnel and blood inside their vehicle, for commander to find the enemy, communicate it’s location, turn the turret and fire.

This is very game-y and unrealistic, and also heavily favours tanks with APHE “sphere-of-death” shells.

Ngl I take it to 6.7 and lobotomize things like Jagdpather, Ferdinand, and Jpz making them unable to move or play the game for 10 minutes straight.
