But there is something I found interesting, “On all Abrams models up to the M1A2C, the frontal hull armor is 700mm thick. I have measured this myself, using the weldlines as a guide. From the front to the weld is 600mm and then behind the weld is a 101mm steel plate, giving a total thickness of about 100mm.
