0 - 30: 3 sec.
0 - 50: 11.
0 - 60: 17.
Reverse: 7 sec to 40kph.
Traverse: 9.
T-80BVM:
0 - 30: 3
0 - 50: 10
0 - 60: 16
Reverse: 1 sec to 11kph.
Traverse: 8.
Congrats, it’s still more mobile than a T-80BVM.
Slightly slower acceleration in forward.
Slightly slower traverse.
Significantly better reverse [for urban environments, etc].
I don’t even play USA, mostly just UK and USSR but I have a lot of sympathy for US players. Your vehicles being made better would honestly make the game more fun, even for your opponents. I wish you guys luck with this but it probably isn’t going to happen.

There needs to be one large and long hail mary report that addresses all of the following. The consistency issues that the “M1A2C” name changes cause, and establishing that any reference to either vehicle in these sources go hand in hand (I don’t know a single person in the Army that has ever known it as the M1A2C, this almost seems lije a deliberate name change to not give the vehicle more hull armor). Next the documented weight increase, to prove that the in-game model is missing a massive portion of armor based on what was only added to the turret cheeks and the difference it leaves. Next, we have the test vehicles with weight simulators added to the hull (if Gaijin really wanted to they could just add the equivalent RHA to the hull as they did with the turret. Lastly, we then have the sources that states improved hull armor to back everything else up, and we have the math and weight simulations to give them a percentage increase. Gaijin also previously discredited hull armor discussions because the suspension wasn’t improved to handle it. Well, on top of the fact that the Abrams was already capable of carrying a 4 ton mine-plow on the front, the SEPV3 actually did recieve improved front suspension to handle the extra weight. More evidence.
The bottom line is, this is the same guesstimation that they used to MAKE THE TURRET ARMOR! That is what makes this whole thing so fucking stupid… the turret armor is also equally as classified as the hull armor, so why are they so stubborn with changing the hull armor when they already had to guesstimate the turret armor? Maybe that should be a bug report too.

ngl I’ll probably use M1A2 Trophy over SEPv3 because the increased turret armor means nothing, because it was already impenetrable. And with LMUR spam, Trophy is way more valuable

yeah, but because no one has real numbers (they are all classified,(like most mbt armour)) they refuse to do it

I fully understand that. Previous bug reports have been accepted due to vehicle weight increases and the ability to narrow down where that armor was added.
Gaijin also accepted the weight increase bug report. They will not increase its weight if they can’t figure our where all that weight came from.
i mean tbf, if all that bug reporting manager can say is that testing may differ from production, means we have to be close. but its prolly just hella coping lmao

We’re fighting with the mods here, not the devs. We know the devs are already looking into this because if they weren’t the SEPV3 would just be 70 tons in game with no improvements. We just have to get through the mods to the point where they can’t even deny it anymore.
If it helps, I remember people finding sources from the last hull armor battle that also explicitly stated the hull chobham was improved on the SEPV3, but I can’t go digging right now
hopefully, but i do remember gaijin specifically saying the m1a2v3, got the improved hull, not the v2 to deal with the massive outcry before. but i would imagine if the devs wanted it to get the armour, they would have modelled it one way or another, but they have not.

in game rn V2 with trophy weighs the same as V2 without it
and so does V3
there is already an accepted report to increase V3 weight Community Bug Reporting System
so hopefully with the increase weight, it comes with an improved hull, but knowing gaijin its not getting it. In its current armour state, with the increase weight, it will basically be a slower m1a2sep v1?
