M1A2C Hull armor missing

simple google search: “M1A2C” did not exist in official print in 2016, but the exact physical vehicle, its physical armor arrays, and its hull modifications did exist under its original name, the M1A2 SEPv3

mod was straight up wrong on this one
The only difference between M1A2C and SEPv3 is the name change. It’s the exact same vehicle, same upgrade, same version, everything.

And the funny thing is, the armor development for Sepv3s NEA started in 2015 @Smin1080p_WT @Gunjob

baring in mind they even reduced the electronics weight by several tonnes or smthn (might be exagerating) by using fiber optic cables

Ngl mod response to the report made me laugh out loud

It’s a lost cause, it’s gaijin. At least the tank is alright, gaijin will never fix their mistakes. Might as well enjoy it as we can…

So tired of incompetence in the dev team and communications team…

yeah its just annoying gaijin geniunley think the abrams has had the exact same hull armour since the first one in 1979 or whatever

Let me get this straight. They won’t give the hull more protection because it’s classified and no % number exists. Yet they gave the turret an increase which is also classified and no % number of exists for that either. It’s the same NGAP armor package how in the hell does that make sense.

It’s actually just goofy on gaijins part. They really love to lean into the Selective Bias

well I reported the mod’s reply for misinformation and hope for the best cuz that’s all we can do at this point (you should report too). If they want Abrams (most modern variant by the way + clear proof of armor upgrade) to get one tapped by the frontal hull shot then so be it

The armor package tested in the 2015/2016 DOT&E report Next Evolution Armor (NEA) is the exact package that went into the production M1A2 SEPv3 (M1A2C). The US Army did not throw away the NEA package. They verified it through those 2015 live-fire tests and then fielded it.

Gets penned by 9.3s in the lfp lmao

what is this?

implementation of next generation armor

Even outdated rounds like 3BM22 from 500 meters T-72A can pen though M1A2 Abrams Sepv2 front hull armor in war thunder if they kept same hull armor oof for M1A2C.

the thing is, there is a massive amount of sources saying it was implimented, but for some reason they want numbers, like direct % improvments and physics improvements
