Dude I’m telling you the gun will be disabled no more than it would if it had armor because the spalling or lack there of cause no armor will require more accurate hits on the gun just like if it had armor. The thing will be an majorly up armored M1128 without the height making it easier to get hull down.
Its kinda insane that went through, still no evidence of the NERA being upgraded or beimg congurent with the cheeks
because i swear the sides arent even sharing the same multiplier to the cheeks like the cheeks of the m1a2/aim/HC IS MORE ARMORED than the m1a1 cheeks, but sides and hull arent the same
Also i think there are a few spaces in the cutway of the hull to fit a few NERA plates without having to be thicker so theres that
No because it’s multiple layers of relatively steel plates, this is gonna result in more than enough spall to deal with a singular canon/breach. I’m not gonna argue about this lol, but look at any bmp or ifv and see how they spall lol.
How poorly those spalled was why when asked people agreed to the extra modeled modules.
Also i feel like trophy and aps in general should have a target direction indicator or something because trophy kinda acts as a pseudo LWR

Even better than LWS, staff is getting informed and there is possibility of automatic response-with-fire kind of thing. However this is a game, fcs means you can turn your armaments :)

The CEO of Rostec openly said that the T-14 will not replace the T-90. Orders for mass production have all been cancelled.
Furthermore, production plans for the T-90M/M2 have been shared online, pointing to factory line working on that until 2036. Russia doesn’t have any T-90M/T-14 replacement in the pipeline as of right now, instead focusing fully on the existing T-90 industrial base as to not have production dead holes since they need to rebuild after all the losses.

It’s amusing how Gaijin can increase the armor protection of the turret cheeks by over 40% without any external or dimensional changes, yet they refuse to do the same for the lower glacis. Apparently, armor technology for the lower glacis stopped evolving sometime in the 1970s.

I don’t think we’ll see hull armor for abrams anytime soon until they add the T-14 Amata. Until now, in my eyes, hull armor is just paper.

Incorrect: Physical limits do not mean the Army spent several additional tons on vibes and patriotism.
The argument is not “SEPv3 hull must be invincible.” The argument is that SEPv3 hull protection should not be treated as unchanged when official souurces and accepted mass changes indicate hull/armor/survivability upgrades.
