doesnt really matter, this is gaijins platform, we have to follow their rules regardless of what they do
Not to argue, but do you think the system their using is flawed for getting suggestions and bugs pushed through?
And true, its their platform, Doesn’t mean we cant call them out on their bs tho right?
I don’t think you understand the point of my comment. Yes, the Abrams has DU armor in the turret in game. And guess what? The turret armor is equally as ambiguous in value as the hull armor. There is no difference here, if they can guesstimate on the turret armor, why can’t it be done with the hull?
Yet a few DU hulls of the Abrams isn’t.
the system they have isnt flawed itself, its the standard of information they require that is the problem
Their “standard” for information isn’t “standard.” It’s as they choose, and what they want for the game.
Everything is a case by case basis they say that have standards and will bend standards for “reasons” but will enforce them elsewhere.
no, their standard is one primary source or two secondaries, but those have to present clear information and often numbers
its a perfectly fine standard but it isnt suitable for the modern stuff in the game which doesnt have the clear numbers available
They have let things pass for less.
do you have an example? I havent heard of any
Video of a leopard spinning a turret first to come to mind.
for the clearance zones over the engine? a video is pretty clear evidence for that type of thing, same way a picture is clear evidence of a plane being able to carry specific weapons, but you arent going to get a video showing how much armour the DU on the hull of the abrams provides
You also can’t tell from a video if it is the operator or the system that is making the adjustment. Neither is it a primary source.
yeah but there is other supporting information that the leopard has a system that does make the adjustment
also why would the operator do that?
a video like that is a primary source
Ok so a video is a primary source? So I can get the Abrams to bypass the nato hump with this video?
To avoid doing that.
maybe as a source for gunner override of whatever stops it but you can also see that the gun is immediately raised back up to avoid the engine after you hear the loud thunk which is what the gun limitations are to avoid
You mean when the gunner raises it after realizing his mistake?
yes after the very loud thunk
it would have to be implemented but you can already turn of stabilisation for no reason so that should just allow you to override it to depress the gun over the engine
So the operator raising not the system. Stop making double standards
whats the double standard?
we know that the system exists, we also know that there is overrides for it, gaijin just refuses to implement the override because theyre lazy
