Im not gonna keep arguing with y’all pretending a buff to the LFP is all that stands between this tank not being worth adding to the game. At most its still not reaching the low end of the top tier dart breakpoint, and you’re having to manufacture absurdly bad shots to justify it maybe mattering.

Like we don’t have ‘in trials it was able to resist this sort of shell’, which I assume is the ideal information to use for tanks with still-classified armor.
We don’t even have a propaganda number. If they had a propaganda number they would know the absolute highest it could possibly be and be able to work backwards from there.
Like, people are pulling out mentions of the armor being upgraded in congressional budgets as their best sources. That’s how tight the information security around it is. There’s not going to be anything actually usable for implementation in the game for years. imo it would’ve been better to just. Not put a tank currently in service that’s this classified into the game in the first place, but hey, people were asking for it.
Being able to tank shots from 10.7 vehicles to the front of the hull i would personally consider a buff. And I’m tired of this “oooh this isnt major so it shouldnt be considered” attitude from people. Does 7-8+ bug reports and a whole forum dedicated to this issue with more activity than the updates own designated forum not show you how people actually kinda do care about this? Part of it is the fact that the vehicle still has the same armor as the 10.7 abrams despite the fact we’ve fought so long for even a minor buff and then when the tank that people were like “the sepv2 didnt have it in mass production, the sepv3 did” and then suddenly that shifts when the sepv3 is added to “actually what even is DU guys lol!” makes it feel more like an insult rather than an oversight
Hey captain reading comprehension, maybe go back and see the multiple times where I said I think it SHOULD get it. Im just saying you guys are blowing this way out of proportions. The M1A2C will still be fantastic with or without the buff, and the US will still have one of the best top tier lineups in-game.

I’m more upset with how Gaijin has been handling the bug reports on this matter than anything. They are simply having malicious intent in my opinion, and denying the bug reports for reasons that make no sense whatsoever.
you say that, but for hard values the US pretty much always understates them (eg. F22 super cruise speed they say 1.5+ but ~1.8 has been confirmed or F22 top speed is officially 2+ but again is known to be at least 2.25)

I am not sure they will have it standing to the existing threat of 1000 KE considering combat with it should be hull down. But definitely should significantly more than what it is.
hull down is ideal situation, and that is why it is only 1000mm
while to provide overmatch the turret cheeks would have to be ~1500-2000mm obviously

Good question I’m not sure I doubt it with the how high the CE has generally been but as again with doctrine. Weight cuts could have been in place for mobility.
Yeah I’m just saying I think the hull will be significantly lower than what is on the cheeks. More than now but I am not sure about competing against top end darts.

and the krisentama missile has 1200mm pen
even their gun launched ATGMs at 11.3 and up can pen it
