Well, I haven’t spent a ton of time on the dev. So if your experience with A3 is better vs. A2, assuming you have probably played a lot more than I have, then yeah. That’s great.
But as you pointed out. The main thing we fight is relikt, which then wouldn’t the angled performance of the A2 be better? Thought some folks said A3s tip didnt offer any benefits against relikt.

Where is their source for saying all the extra weight is in the turret?
I dont think theres any source they can bring up that can deny all the sources we have for otherwise

Looks like Gaijins devblog next week will be about how the 4.5 tons are all in the 150mm panels on the turret cheeks
Theyre gonna dig their own grave making this issue known to the wider playerbase
and why did they ignore all this well founded calculations based on sources just to state “All the extra weight went into the turret.” without any proof or elaboration, this isnt professional at all

This issue isn’t just the Abrams armor and weight values not adding up, its what they are coming alongside of. Buffing Russian ERA to a point it effectively negates the improvements begs to ask the question of why add them? Well we know why, infinite grind must be infinite, but why as a players should I bother to research it? Why waste the time? If its no different than the standard M1A2, then its a waste of effort and premium time. I’ll just keep playing something else.

It is not so much that it isn’t a real word so much that it is a self defeating word following linguistical conventions. However, it has persisted in use adequately that it now (whether I like it or not) has a use case in that sense.
A3 doesn’t offer any bonus against Relikt, that would be A4 i think.
Nah look at the video I tagged, and the other one you had been tagged, the one the other guy linked was for the A3 round specifically, the one I linked is from last year or a little older just trying to clear up some things on APFSDS.
Which BTW I used to think the same that weight as well effected spalling, as it should.
I know, colloquially it’s been used that long it’s been made into a word, it’s been in my lexicon since I was a child as well.
However I do want to keep this on the abrams and seeing they just bounced what I am assuming is another abrams report saying all the weight went into the turret, i’m gonna assume that they either are about to bounce the big one or have absolutely zero idea what’s being done by devs and such.
which I really, really hope the V3 gets some form of armour buff, you can’t tell they can’t guess it.
