They arent Ariete levels of bad, but they arent remotely close to gaijins favourite.
The abrams is a very good addition nevertheless, worthy enough to rival the BN as a first spawn

I am very happy about most Abrams-related news; the new shell, the reworked armor, the number of additions, the really cool camouflage nets… however, it is disappointing to see you guys still believe the hull armor was not improved in the late 2010s since the very first iteration from 1979 despite being confirmed by official documents.

Getting extra hull armor and M829A3 is just not going to be possible. Pick one. I am personally against A3 as it will ruin top tier shell balance.

Nice to be added, M1A2C has a lot to bring to the game. Being aware its best penetrator will be implemented now (I think), hopefully soon the developers focus on next-generation projects and late Cold War prototypes aka M1 CATTB, Pz. 87-140 WE and Object 195. Other nations may recieve high caliber-like tanks like the french and britain as well which could serve as bridge from current to next-generation tanks but what I’m speaking about, too much asking.
Sooo hopefully these new Abrams will also have the SEPV2 ROSY Smoke and LR as well
The Abrams is going volumetric which should, god willing, correct the issues with the butchered turret ring.

Why? It has both in real life so it should have both ingame too.
War Thunder is suppossed to depict vehicles faithfully and “carefully crafted from historical and authentic sources”. This should apply to every single vehicle, including, of course, the Abrams.
It has been various times that Devs and CMs alike have DENIED that they would ever manipulate armor specs “for balance”, so…
