The objective of m829a3 is to pen ERA easier than the a2. Losing 4mm while you can front pen every contakt 5 tank in the game from basically every distance is a pretty good trade off

maybe if it actually did that (btw should work on relikt too)
each of those 6 missing K5 blocks ate a round of M829A3 from that range when I was testing it yesterday

you should be able to, even in the hangar you can test it.
Didn’t realize it was functionally different in game, thought they simulated that just through pen value.
Ah okay so it is not actually working and is just a worse round.
Looks like he tested drove it which provides more realistic results than hanger. So looks like its just a bad round unless they fix it.

I can pen it in the test drive too, but you need a “lower” angle than in the Hangar.
Man gotta love it, Dart designed specifically for penetrating ERA armours, can’t.
as of january they really are dropping the ball.
No extra armour on the Sep v3, Turret basket for the CR2, ridiculous basket for the merkavas.
Leclercs are a state.
Leopards still left to rot.
Every patch it just gets worse lol, that’s not even refering to lower BRs which are just completely ignored.
Now i am of the mind teh abrams are pretty good tanks in game to use, but this is ridiculous lol, it’s literally missing all of the things which would make it a sepV3

Not sure what happen with his test but it seems to be working
So its super situational and its better to just shoot the exact same weal spots that you have to with A2.
Its a bait round then for anyone that knows how it should work but also enjoy bouncing rounds except in super sitaripnal angle environments?
Guys how does the KE-W A2 compare to the m829a3 and is the British SEP V3 a worse version than the us?
Do we think it makes it to the live server ?

That feature is basically the only reason A3 is in the game.
It prevents K5 armoured tanks from competing in an uptier. Especially with reports for DM-53 and L27 being reviewed

Doesn’t prevent them from competing at all, Dm53 could UFP a T80U any ways lol
