You just need to hover by a mountain or building pop up and down. There’s videos on YouTube suggesting not to even bother bringing flares since IRCCM will do most of the work. All you need is a minimum chaff.

For the Abrams, specifically the Abrams. You’re having the same massive weakspot that people have been saying for years “hey that’s not correct.” Where the Turret ring is massive.

The biggest buff the Abrams received wasn’t even something for the Abrams, it was the addition of volumetric shells (Remember when they said it would be impossible to add? lol), before hand, it was SUPER easy to launch anything into that turret ring. You literally just had to aim at that gap of a void and blast straight into it. Abrams literally had to treat EVERYTHING as a threat.
At this point, adding new Abrams is like reskinning one character 4 times in a row for a fighting game and calling it a new character.
Then why are you worried about SepV3? It’s literally APS and Extra armor 💀

Top tier weakspots don’t matter. I rather have mobility and fire rate when every tank has LRF. But those helis get LWS and by the time you shot they already hid 😭

I’m advocating for better survivability and the SepV3 has APS and better armor. @racimazzedine thinks it’ll break the game but it’s obvious he’s not playing top tier. I don’t care about the 700+ mm rounds cause i’ll pop the spalliners, the era and any tank at top tier with regular APFDS. The problem is rushing a point capping then helicopter time with fire and forget 💀. Saying 4 APS rocket saves won’t help is so wrong when it most certainly will help.

More and more evidence gets pointed showing that shells shouldn’t be able to just magically push their way on through with no resistance or at least have a spall liner embedded in the armor paneling to stop it just ripping the entire crew apart with fragments.
But gaijin goes suspiciously quiet when they get proven wrong, like what just happened now.
The LFP we have every good reason to assume should get more armor yet it still keeps the same 370mm of protection. Would these changes make it where the tank is invulnerable frontally? No. But it’s better to have it accurate than to pretend it doesn’t exist.
Does this change anything? Maybe not. But at least it’s accurate.
So at the end of the day. Why would I want to play a tank where some shmuck with a 2.0 tank can just dome you instantly in a spot that probably shouldn’t even exist?

If Abrams was accurate it would break top tier, same with leos. We all know it but there’s a trade off i feel. Especially since balance is need to some extent

Warthunder honestly should still be in the early to mid 80’s and not rapidly advancing like they are now because you get the BS balancing at top-tier. Because currently you’re having Gaijin be picky choosy of what variant an aircraft is mixing and matching block models allowing it to carry theoretical configurations while delaying the addition or not even adding it for the other. Same issue with tanks. They will gladly speculate for some tanks but not others.
