Every armor is called next gen. In terms of next gen being the successor I would say M1E3 sure or abrams x. But sepV3 being Next gen? It’s upgrades to the M1A2 it’s not like a T14 Armata we’re talking here.
Technically the Black knight APS shouldn’t be able to defeat APFSDS rounds. But if 2A8 APS is a copy paste of the black knight, its only useful at sniping in large maps. So yeah not much change. Maybe will help leopards and abrams survive against terminators.

object are here to fill gaps, but thing like kf51 or abram x will be the only one used.
there is no a single object that is used more that the tank next to it in the tech tree.
this is top tier not just some slop gap filling, adding the best will just simply mean only the best will be used.
I would say keep the rounds out the game since it would break the already broken game. What I would love to see from this is APS for surviving the flood of helicopters at top tier. Not all rockets but most rockets
