In terms of defence, and to my knowledge, Abrams just lacks efficient measures.
For statrters, in top tier, nobody lands their first shot on your turret no matter what tank you’re in(non pen 99% of time) ,even if they have to, it would be barrel.
And the hull armor just physically can not block rounds shot by its counterparts.

And other defence systems just don’t exist.
No LWS
No APS
No Spall liner
No Relikt-like ERA

In addition, incorrectly modelled hydraulic pump, turret ring which is too weak are worsening the situation.

Therefore Trophy is a good defence system upgrade

Yeah… if you think 3BM-70 Vacuum-2 doesn’t exist… yeah ok man. The Russians figured out the Armor on the Sep V2 and they realized that none of their rounds couldn’t even penetrate the Hull of the Sep v2. So vacuum-2 most likely exists and can only be fired by the Armata.

292 is a piece of garbage. T-80B is way better and the T-80B itself is cleared by the M1 and 2A4…

I mean that is also exactly what the SEPv2 has always been, at least the T-72B3A has a unique mechanic.

SEPv2 should have been released with trophy, not because the T-72B3A was just added with an APS, but to make it actually worth grinding.

And regarding the B3A? Best to just move it to 11.7 where it fits in much better.

Iron fist beats it in almost every meaningful area except number of charges.

I have done it twice with trophy and survived, but this was before they broke the trophy system.

Only reason I can think its 12.0 is to drives premium sales. Its honestly digusting how much better than t80ue1 is compared to the TT and squadron offerings at 11.7.

Better thermals, engine and signifcantly better gunhandling.

It’s mostly just Gaijin thinking that a hard kill APS instantly makes a vehicle 0.3 BR higher than their non APS counterparts are or should be.

same goes for the Black Night, Mk.4M (when the 4B and LIC were still a lower BR) and VT-4A1.

The SepV2 offers nothing meaningful to the lineup and it’s more of a downgrade than anything else.

Its lineup filler tbh, your Abrams spawn order will most likely look like:
SEP
M1A2/CB/AIM/HC
SEP V2

Its honestly insane how many Abrams the US gets.

I mean 11.7-12.0 it’s pretty in line with other major nations. They get 6 Abrams tanks while Germany get 6 Leopards at this BR and Russia gets 3 T-80s + 2 T-72s + 1 T-90 at that BR.

However if you compare it to minor nations (excluding Britain which gets a lot of 11.7-12.0 MBTs) it is quite a lot.

Now look at these tanks individually. Germany gets one 2A7, while Russia gets only the UE1/BVM. The US however, gets the 2nd best MBT at top tier SIX times.

Almost like it’s been the Army’s main tank for over 40 years. There should be more USMC Abrams as well
