At this time yes.
DM53, Type 10, and M829A2 out-perform the next best round that isn’t M829A1 and M338 by at least 6.5%.
That disparity becomes larger the more advanced you get in ammo.
At some point you need to give everyone an ammo equivalent their weapons can fire even if it’s not in-service for that tank but technically capable if powercreep continues.

China is going to be the holdout.
USSR has experimental rounds known as Vacuum.
NATO 120s can technically use SHARD Mk2 for tanks that can’t fire M829A3+ and DM73.
But that’s it, that’s the end of gun powercreep if China can get an option, and Gaijin gives SHARD Mk2 to everyone that isn’t Leopard 2s and Abrams.

It’s on a vehicle with a trash autoloader reload of 10 seconds, no thermals, dogshit turret traverse, and that cooks off from any penetrating hit. Don’t be obtuse and posit that only dart penetration matters.

I think Vacuum is for the T-14 only. but there are also still the 3BM48 DU round with 300mm @ 2000m at 60° compatible with the older auto loaders and 3BM59 DU round with ~315-330mm at 60° at 2000m for the 2A46M-5 guns with the new auto loaders.

Vacuum doesn’t exist m8. It’s purely a mockup. Like a ‘we could maybe do this the same way people thought we’d be driving flying cars in 2000’ level mockup.
There are step to mitigate you from being hit from apfsds. A simple slope can protect you from the majority of munitions.
With the exception of buildings, there’s nothing much you can do to defend from kh38s.
The point being is that there are simple ways to avoid enemies from taking easy shots at you where as there’s you can do to reasonably avoid kh38s coming at you going Mach jesus.
That being said, an aps that can intercept kenetic rounds, make it a very forgiving tank

If that was so simple and easy then getting caught off guard and dying would be reserved to only the worst of the worst, which isn’t the case.
Arena can’t hold a candle to IF, as it’s basically useless against the most common (and biggest) threat in top tier. I wouldn’t be surprised if it dropped down in BR soon, as it’s pretty much a worse B3 with a gimmick slapped onto it.
How many charges do you get on the iron fist vs the Arena?
I believe on IF you get 4 and for Arena I’m not sure.
You don’t need APS unless you want one extra tank to bring in the match…
