If I’m understanding that correctly doesn’t that mean the A1 AIM should have 1st gen DU in hull?

In regard to the protection values they want I dont think we are going to get those since its classified.

Which is just bullshit. It’s not like its a secret that DU plates exist in Abrams and they could do their best estimate for protection values., rather than just ignoring their existence.

Well, I did say to him that they can use the same DU values that is on the turret currently in the game because its most likely the same DU composition.

Export M1s never got DU armour, they get as called" almost similar to DU " armour. Saudi’s, as well as future Polish M1A2 SEP V3 tanks.
Poland got US army standard m1a2 sepv3 so they have du/new generation armor

I doubt they’ll use it as a source. After the countless hours spent by people trying to get the upgraded armor of the abrams recognized it seems as if they just want an excuse to NOT upgrade it’s armor. It is the same case with the Challenger.

This is just down right false. They have said numerous times that they need actual data and not what ifs. What Kenny proposed was a good compromise.
Really hopes it works out as you say.
Trust me I hope so too. With all the backlash they currently are getting right now that might play factor in them actually doing something.

I really dont understand why Gaijin needs borderline classified material to accept armor upgrades for the Abrams.
Dont even think of this from a realism perspective, think of the gameplay perspective. Obviously, for every Abrams you research there should be a substantial improvement to the previous tank in regards to Armor, Firepower or Mobility. So does it make sense that the players reward for getting a end of the line Abrams is a… remote controlled turret? Hell, going down the Abrams line past the M1A1 should’ve had a continuous upgrade to the LFP before reaching the apex that is the SEP V2.
Modern tanks sources are classified Gaijins guesstimations should always make sure that the next tank model should have a major upgrade somewhere! What? Does Gaijin wants to be on the headlines again, pissing off the community until an American tanker leaks info?

Welp he replied they still want one more secondary source and the actual values of the protection increase which we will never get. If anyone has another secondary source I will upload it but other than I’m out of sources lol.
