I’m not fully sure about what i said. It’s just looks like good. As far as i saw, Soviet has great IFV’s, Germany has powerful tanks and USA has good anti airs.
Russia has the best top tier AA in the game at this time. The US top tier experience isn’t great. Germany is definitely the best of the three at top tier.
Stay away from US top tier. Play other nations if you want to go modern. Abrams armor is bugged for the last 10 months and the HSTVL is nerfed because Gaijin doesn’t care about historical accuracy. US and the UK get the worst top tier AA
Well it depends how you wont to proceed further, is your goal top tier or to have fun and reach a certain tier and a specific line-up? If you are going to be mainly a ground player at top tier I suggest you go the Sweden route, it has 3 top tanks the strv.122s excellent aa system Itom, great ifv like the cv90 in addition you have Finland with Soviet equipment and at the end a leo2a6.
If you go the German route you will have excellent time playing ground as well, super tanks and a lot of support vehicles like the begelit, puma and access to soviet equipment as well. You also have great aas to go with it at 9.3-10.3 br bracket, Ozi, Geppard, and now OSA. Not to mention the historical ww2 vehicles.
Soviets are excellent as well they have great variety at every br. bracket many premium vehicles especially super powerful ones, if you are willing to spend a fortune 279 and IS-3. Super fun ifvs as well, but keep in mind Soviet tanks are general very good but not the best and at times you will struggle on the ground especially against the leos. This is where you have to unlock the hidden power of this nation called CAS. Very very good planes at attacking ground targets especially at high br brackets.
Don’t forget the excellent helicopters they have, highly recommend you get the special ones ka-50-52.
If you wont to be the best with Soviets you need air to go with ground, tanks alone wont work. T-series are very good but not game brakers. However, as you progress in Air vehicles, once you reach top tier in Air rb you will struggle against FOX-3. But, by that time knowing how to multipath, notch and maneuver can give an edge in air battles but its very hard to achieve.
As for US a somewhat similar situation to the Soveits, very good at everything but do not have the best tanks at top tier. However, top tier is not everything at 5.7 br to 6,7 you will dominate the battle field with all the heavy armor and high penetration rounds. Vey fun to play lots of historical vehicles. I enjoy it a lot, there are really cool vehicles like the XM-8, CCVL and M60-MBT but unfortunately they were event vehicles from the past that add an extra punch to you mid top tier line ups. KVT is great at everything but lacks armor so you have to be careful. That is something you have to take into account playing US at top tier level inferior armor, but great mobility and good firepower.
If you want to be the best you need to unleash the beasts of air, that is the F-16C and F-15C fantastic at almost everything. Probably the best air rb planes in the game. Without the above mentioned eagles US wont be complete for you. That is something you need to keep in mind. Being excellent at this game requires you to play air in a way, Top two nations to do it in are US and the Soviets.
That of course does not mean that you should not research Japan, I personally love non conventional ways of playing, However you need experience otherwise sure go for it.
if you havent played top tier, jumping into top tier is not for you. On top of the vehicle purchase you have to put GE into crew training or you will have a very bad time. I wouldnt jump right into the top tier gameplay.
With that being said here is my opion if you choose to still buy one.
Abrams is very mobile and poor severability
T-72 Turms has poor mobility and good survivability
3 The PZbtl 123 is right in between the two. ok mobility, ok survivability
Figure out what play style best meets how you like to play and have at it.
Very true comement, dont jump right into top tier, make sure your crews are trained first and you have a good grasp of the game, top tier from the beginning is the worst possible choice. Perhaps you can split that money into five or six different crews and level them up it makes a big difference. Make sure the lineups you have are then set to expert crews they detect better and have better overall reload performances. Ideally you want to have ace crews but that is expensive. Start out at the lower ranks progress through and then jump into top tier.
If you have the money sure get a premium but hold on to it since you got it at an excellent price and only use it sparling as you figure the game out and level up crews and your experience.
I can’t reply multiple comments so i’ll answer all from here.
I have grinded USA, Germany, USSR, Sweden, China to 6.0. So I’m not fully beginner. I stopped grind nations after 6.0 because mid tier feels like good place to play.
Neothe, as far as i understand (english isn’t my main language), u said “choose Sweden if u gonna play only ground”. Swedish Christian II is %50 off, I’m considering going both Helicopter and Ground line. Should i buy Christian II or go German PZBTL 123?
Both are really good, at the moment if you want to research ground plus heli then Sweden is slightly better. But think of this in terms of a grand scheme, Germany has a lot weapon systems that have not bee introduced especially if you then choose Germany plus air vehicles. They will be getting the Eurofighter typhoon which is better than the grippen. But Sweden also has Finland and Norway under their wing so that means potential F-35 and F-16 variants depends on what gajiin adds in the future.
Overall its a close call, but at the moment Sweden leads top tier with their Strv tanks. In terms of tanks Germany has more variety but Sweden has better ifvs, the cv90s.
