M1a1 and m1a2 du package

here is proof from the U.S nuclear regulatory commission where the U.S Army required permission to continue using the “DU Package” dated Feb 22 2006.

link- https://www.nrc.gov/docs/ML0605/ML060590665.pdf

As seen in section’s 5, and 6, it talks about the use of the DU in both the turret and hulls of vehicles. although it is only limited to 5 hulls total I fell balance wise that if the Ussr nation gets the 2S38 which is as reports state one of the most technologically advance tanks in the world as of today September 16th 2025, I feel that’s its only fair the Americans can get the m1a1’s or a2’s whichever Gijan would go with as either a tech tree vehicle at the bottom under the m1a1 HC or a premium. to make it fair.

but that’s just a bit of proof and a autist thoughts.

This license was later updated to as needed number of both hull and turret

But that does not change the fact that they were made.

That wasn’t a point against you I was saying that they might not be as limited as five hulls

That’s a document referring to a hull testing done predating SEP3.
The document would be updated for SEP3, but it doesn’t detail protection level.

This document was already circulated a year or two ago and discussed.

DU is already in the turrets in-game though.

2S38 is 100% irrelevant to this discussion, as are dates. Bringing up those off-topic irrelevant things is only an way to derail Abrams discussion.

I use the 2S38 as a example of modern stuff, and dates are not irrelevant.

it is not

the “DU armor” in games stats are copied from non DU export armor at the swedish trials

It has more armor than the Swedish trials.
Only M1A1 AIM has the Swedish trials armor as that’s the only Abrams in-game with export armor.
The DU turrets have an uber conservative estimate of… 30mm more armor cause Gaijin keeps estimates low for all tanks.

it does not, its coverage sectors match those from the swedish trials while AIM underpreforms compared to that data
