Hello, I’d like to suggest a Canadian missile carrier, namely a Canadian one that is closely related to the NM-142.

History:
After the failure of the domestic program for the Bobcat APC, Canada would look for an off-the-shelf option instead. They would end up procuring the M113A1 in 1964, with them ordering 300 M113A1, which would be delivered in 1964-65 and followed up with additional orders in 1968 and 71 for 300 and 445 more, respectively.

Canada would begin to procure the M133A2 between 1980 to 84, along with upgrading the current fleet of M113A1s to M113A2 standard. Said mixed fleet would stay in service until the late 1990s, when they’d be replaced by M113A3s or M113A2s upgraded to MTVL standards, becoming the only ones still in Canadian service by the mid-2000s.

The M113A2 TUA would enter Canadian service in 1989; it would use the turret designed by Kværner Eureka, which was used on the NM142. It would be built under licensed production in Canada. They would have some changes, like mounting two banks of six Wegmann 76mm Multi-purpose Grenade Launcher Tubes to the back of the turret, to allow for the addition of the turret, the commander’s cupola and station had to be repositioned behind the engine wall. During its service in UNPROFOR, it would have a C6 GPMG fitted to the side of the right TOW-2 launcher, which allowed it to be aligned with the main sight used by the gunner; it had a connection installed that allowed it to be fired remotely. The gun also had to be modified to feed from the right side due to how it was mounted on the launcher. In the end, 72 of this variant were made, and it would be retired around 2005/6.

Fun fact, those Armoured Launching Turrets were manufactured by Invar Manufacturing in Quinte West, Ontario now owned by Linamar.
