M103A2 - Literally another M103

m103a2

It’s exactly what’s on the tin. It is literally just another 7.7 tank. It is a two-time copy-paste of a tank that uses an M103 hull and the rear end of an M48A2 to give this thing a ‘slightly’ better engine. Are there better tanks to add? Absolutely. Are there more interesting tanks to add? Probably, I don’t know and I really don’t care.

But come on. Gaijin, copy+paste your way into my wallet already. That’s all you guys ever know how to do anyways, so yeah. M103A2. Slightly better engine, slightly better mobility, maybe better engine HP and a big Infrared searchlight. Maybe a quicker rangefinder than the base model I guess.

And before anyone goes out of their way to mention “erhm ackshahahooly it should be 8.3 because the M2456789 Coincidentally Special Needs Rangefinderoo has lubricated handles that can be controlled via the commander’s rectum” or something stupid like that - literally no, stop, and go look at the PzH 2000 or any other rapid-fire HE MG that they recently threw into the game. A LATE 1990s ARTILLERY PIECE, with LASER RANGEFINDERS and a FIVE SECOND RELOAD is at the SAME BR as a ‘somewhat’ decent heavy tank from the 1950s. And I know, for a fact - as an undisputed, undeniable, unchanging fact of the world - that Gaijin will never balance those things in a million, billion, trillion years.

So shut up and give me my crayon eater tank. Hoo-rah.

What?

What are you talking about, the original M103 also had an optical rangefinder, where are you making these bait from?

It’s a joke. Everyone knows the M103 has a rangefinder, buddy.

Anyways, yeah. M103A2. I want another 7.7 big gun monster to pad out my 7.7 line. That is literally it.
