Yeah as its made for when you can’t get an Abrams in time it only exists to have a tank that can be easily deployed and moved around which will sacrifice protection and firepower
When i mean moved around i mean long distance by helicopter or a plane
I like the positivity surrounding this vehicle don’t get me wrong. So much negativity on this forum.
Why not get excited over a potential new boy? And I don’t mean to be patronizing, you guys know your stuff as well as I do.
I just don’t think this will a light tank in the way WT light tanks are.
It won’t out speed the MBT it should face in its era. This is a US tank made to seal club the Taliban whoever they are. Not face modern Russia. Or maybe it is a civil defense beast made to face the breakup of the USA who knows. The Doctrine is somewhat baffling. Too heavy and expensive for export when export should be its major function.
I do think in the 2026 main production it’s getting the Iron-Fist light version (found on the Black Knight) which will make it irritating to face lol 😆 I think that will be the difference maker because as it stands it probably won’t be implemented right anyways. I’m curious to what its horizontal turret traverse speed will be because that will also help a lot.
Quite the opposite actually as most infantry didn’t need a vehicle like this as the worst thing they could fight is a a dug in machine gunner this to to get places where abrams cant and support infantry
ig they took the european concept of a heavy-light vehicle with good engine that was able to support infantry, or maybe they just took the project in hands and someone tought it would be a good idea
I like the positivity you are all displaying that is cool no worries. I just feel for Gaijin in implementing this tank into the game. Its sketchy at the moment and this is not a tank vs tank vehicle, let’s be clear on that.
It will not work as previous lights work in regard to speed advantage as it will be no faster than the current MBT’s it faces unless you pitch it at 70s 80s tanks. You won’t get ahead of the opposition to ambush here. The Booker is no faster than the M1.

What?
The US withdrew from Afghanistan two years ago. Why would you create a modernized assault gun for “use against your own citizens” schizo?
I know. I mean Germany has no lineup in 11.3. He’s alone, that’s what I’m saying.
I know, I meant real life (irl).
In the game, Gaijin has created a way to compensate for the differences between an MBT and an LT or a TD.
An LT in the game can scout (V Key) and use drones. This is simply what I like most about them. You can also considerably reduce the SP. In short, these “skills” that LTs have in the game should also be present in the top tier.
It is probably much easier, faster and cheaper to ready for combat than an M1. The USA has such a large and diverse theater of operations that I imagine it will be useful, from a tactical and logistical point of view, in many of them.
Where? Like I said it’s just a seal clubber for Arab peasants not a tank buster. Yet in the game it will have to be a tank buster…cue complaints from an unhappy fanbase already.
It’s going to be another work of fiction and get the same old criticism as a result.

You’re right, we spent the time and money to develop a modern FSV solely to “seal club” a group of people in a region we aren’t even deployed into anymore.
