M10 Booker: The Baby Abrams

May I remind you about 2S38

No its an Abrams that always skipped leg days

It’s cool but the hype around it really died when the program got cancelled irl. They only got about 80 of them from the initial production, and none of the subsystems like LWS and Iron fist APS were fully integrated. Maybe something will come from it in the future, but as now what we have in game is cool but probably won’t be anything special.

B3A isn’t newer than the booker lol. Nice try.
Booker literally was delivered may 2025

A tank from 2020?

Time to go be gate guard with miss Sherman Tank.

Irrelevant. Both are very modern, built and developed in the span of the last 5 years. Not to mention that at the time of 2S38 addition the tank was exactly 1 yeah old which makes it equal with M10 Booker (2024 production - 2025 addition).

First prototype was delivered in 2020 (MPF)
Wins in competition over BAE 2022
Designated M10 Booker 2023
First delivered to Army units Feb 2024
Cancelled June (I think) 2025
First publicly seen in 2021 is what I can find so definitely not unveiled in 2024/25

They needed the light tank and Russia doesn’t need another great Top Tier MBT.

They got one Rank 2 Premium Tank (LVT-M24)

This is the baby Abrams

Half-Pint.

I was actually incorrect, the 2s38 was from 2018, it was shown off in the victory day parade.

Which means it was 4.5 yrs old when it was added.

Not 4 months old like the M10 Booker

Sources? Also it arrived in June, pretty sure it was canceled in July, i remember it popping up in the news.

LMAO THE HELL THEY DID!!

The hstvl / Rdflt are both under br’d monsters. Me and my buddy killed 9 Russian mbts on advance to the rhine with just a hstvl (me) and his rdflt, because we reload so quick and have decent armor. They got annihilated.

Are you seriously comparing HSTVL with M10 Booker. I know they have the same classification in game but their playstyles are completely different and US 10.7 lineup indeed could use some love.

Depends on what the M10 can do that will make what be it is.

General Dynamics and BAE discussing delivery of prototypes. GDLS saying all prototypes will be delivered by end of 2020

Discusses active testing of both prototypes in 2021. One of the first pictures I can find of the GLDS MPF candidate

First M10s delivered (April 2024 my bad)

Announcement of cancellation May 1st 2025
https://www.congress.gov/crs-product/IF11859

“all culminating in fielding the first operational company of M10 Booker Combat Vehicles to the 82nd Airborne in the summer of 2025.“

They tested it, until it was delivered in 2025, according to your own source.

If we are talking in terms of testing, the 2s38 testing started in 2010

Here’s a post about its debut during the 2018 victory day parade, dated 2018:

They need XM885 buffed to 372mm of pen to get a higher BR.

And if Russia gets the Armata US gets the Abrams SEP V4 and Germany gets the KF-51.

The M10 Booker was never a full rate production vehicle and I never claimed it was. But it was no longer an experimental vehicle when it received the designation M10. The Army took possession of 36 vehicles over the course of a year and went through multiple tests with the 82nd and then was promptly cancelled in May 2025.

Your original statement was exactly “It was unveiled in 2024-2025.” Which it was not. Prototypes were completed in 2020 and publicly seen in 2021, that is unveiling. The Army took possession of their first batch in April 2024 but again this isn’t unveiling.

I made no argument about the 2S38 but if you really want to go there it also is not accepted into service.
Here’s an extremely pro Russian source even admitting that it’s state is unknown and none have been delivered to units.
