2S38 😂 But for the 100th time, I am a huge light tank enjoyer. Though, even if you do not love light tanks, the 2S38 is an amazing “SPAA”. Especially against helis. IRST+very good Prox fused rounds = ded helis. And Gen 3+3 thermals, I love it for GRB. I use the 2S38 in all of my RU lineups, up to top/max BR.

You can get GE’s with you GJN, the 2S38 “should” go on sale during Anniversary Sale, fwiw 👍
I do not have the Su39 yet, but I do have the Ka-50 I think it is still great, though it does handle a bit differently from other helis due to being dual rotor, and no tail rotor. It is not as good as the Ka-52, but you do get the prem bonuses if you care. But for top top GRB BR’s, the Su-39 is probably better. Def better than the MiG-23ML for GRB, the MiG does not have CCIP nor CCRP for bombs, while the Su-39 does (and other guided ATGM’s etc).

Also another thing is i dropped over 4000$ on this game… BUY SOMETHING YOU HAVE TEST DRIVEN AND ARE HAPPY WITH
If the summer event tank is the object 195 i will buy it, 50$ at this point is nothing.
In all buy something with good armor and mobility and buy prem time

id get the KVT 10.7 is a pretty good br for the US so your winrate should be ok and the KVT is pretty decent.
I dont know how but in the t80bvm i have faced off against kvts…
people prob add it to their lineup as a backup if they only have 1 other high tier tank

Personally, I 100% prefer the M1128 Wolfpack over the M1 KVT. It has a much better dart for their BR ranges, and both will grind out the entire US Ground Tree at max efficiency. After reading my previous comments and taking that info into account, the main choice is if you are ok with, and like using light tanks. Because the Wolfpack can NOT take hits like MBTs can. Also, the Wolfpack is not on sale, and will not be on sale until late Oct/early Nov.
You could just get both. The M1 KVT and Wolfpack are perfect in a 10.7 BR lineup (AB or RB). You could get the M1 KVT right now because it is on sale, save those 2,000 GE’s you get with the pack until Oct/Nov. The Wolfpack is 9,270 GE’s normally, so 4,635 GE’s on sale. You would need 2,635 more GE’s to afford the Wolfpack if you can save those 2k GE’s from the KVT pack. Etc etc.
The RDF/LT is on sale too, but again, read my post I linked above for my comments about its higher BR compared to the KVT and/or Wolfpack.

11.7 is kind of in a bad bracket right now. 12.3 and 13.0 are big pulls, and you eliminate 10.3 russian spam so you are in a 12.3 match basically every game.
11.0 is tons of downtiers because it excludes 12.3 and has no limitations on 10.3 spam. 11.3 is on the edge between the 2.
Your CAS options are also crushed by compression queing at 11.7. Your stuff like the su39/f5 etc. Having to deal with amraams on CAP and the new SPAA while you have like insanely better options not even 1 br higher.
The 11.0/11.3 premiums for ground probably have the best time atm, while 11.0 is a lot of downtiers 10.7 is mostly uptiers due to the wonky population distribution.
Not to say any of these vehicles are bad, just that the uptiers at 11.7 you see all the time are worse due to compression then the uptiers you’ll see all the time at 10.7 to 11.3/7.
Decompression can change all of this in an instant though moving the brackets around. Russia was the big winner last decompression, 10.3 is a sweet BR compared to 10.7 since it is just out of reach of the 11.7 premiums.
Premium light tanks are probably more value than anything else, they tend to be more up br able than anything else, give you options like scout drone and scouting for extra free points while grinding and airstrike gives you cheaper cas spam. Id go with the rdf. You will have to be very on point with your aim and knowledge of where ammo is stored to do well though, not gonna get away with just clicking on a tank and it dying
