According to Aermacchi (formerly Alenia), The M-346 can carry additional ordinance, such as some options we currently have in game like the Spice 250. For a 12.3 aircraft, I feel that brimstones aren’t enough to justify it’s current BR given it’s flight performance, so Spice bombs will definitely help. There are some other interesting options that could be added too.

F-4F has AIM-9L/Is at the same BR. F-16OCU has 6 Magic 2s at the same BR. Sea Harrier brings 2 AIM-120s and 4 AIM-9Ms at the same BR

If anything it should get the AIM-9Li.
The italian army calls all its missiles AIM-9L but in reality they have been modernized to the Li standard from when the ASA-M was inservice.
Just for the record
the Belgian F-16A OCU can only carry 4 Magic 2 missiles, it can however carry up to 6 AIM-9Ms
