Why is the M-346FA 13.0 in Air RB? It is completely inadequate. This is not a discussion about Sim or Ground RB. The plane is even worse than the Harrier at 13.0 in Air-RB. The Brimstones are not fire and forget and they are quite useless in Air RB. The Fox-3s are easily distracted by a single chaff pop and have a very limited range and you don’t get many of them. The aircraft is too slow to give them enough energy to be useful. When people say the Derby is good, they are usually thinking of a Derby launched at supersonic speeds or close to it. This jet cannot do that. How did we get to a point where only 0.3 BR separates the SU-30MK2 and this… abomination?
Remove the Derbys and give it a decent BR please. This thing is hardly usable in a full downtier and it is completely useless anywhere else.
It’s good even at 13.0, play it defensively, use terrain, preference HMD and close engagements. Stock was quite hard, but after you get countermeasures and Derbies researched, it becomes a joy to fly.
no? the derby is a pretty bad long range ARH, when people say the derby is okay, they mean it does pretty good at ranges of 5-7 km or even less, kinda regardless of speed at launch
The problem is the premium SU-30 (MK2 AMV/MKK) and J-11A, which are BR 13.7 aircraft but, for some reason, are still stuck at BR 13.3.
In my opinion, the SU-30MKK is one of the best BR 13.7 aircraft; I feel it’s better than half of the BR 13.7 aircraft in the game, but it’s rated at BR 13.3 xD…
