LRPV(T)

History

LRPV (T) was jointly developed by the Czech company Dajbych in cooperation with the British company Hobson Industries as a modernized military patrol vehicle based on Land Rover Wolf. Vehicle was first showed off in 2013, especially promoted to the Czech and British Army for future modernization of their Land Rover Wolf series of vehicles. Czech Army did not seek out this modification due to them adopting SOV and Armored series of Land Rover Defender 110s.

LRPV family of vehicles was to be extensive, with LRPV(P) being the transport vehicle, LRPV(A) being the armored vehicle and the LRPV(L) being primary variant for security force. Seemingly none of these vehicles have been built. LRPV(T) is the tactical variant of this vehicle, mounting M134 minigun and being specialized primarily for airborne and light units.

The LRPV(T) prioritizes mobility and endurance. It can be fitted with additional fuel tanks, weapon mounts, recovery equipment, communications systems, and other accessories, allowing crews to operate independently over long distances. The modular nature of the design also means that equipment can be made specifically for users needs.

+1 I’ve always been interested in seeing the M134 represented on ground vehicles in-game. 7.62mm doesn’t exactly have a reputation for damage in-game, however, 6000 of them in a minute would surely revert any aircraft back into its base particles. I think they’d make for good 3.0-4.7 SPAAGs. Though I can’t imagine the “muh immersion” crowd would be very pleased…
