Hi there!
I recently started playing the LOTAS for the first couple of times since I got it during it’s event. I’ve noticed something that bothers me quite a bit about it. It’s the fact that regardless of the fact that the missile /rocket (whatever yo want to call it) is completely made of steel (from wikipedia: Instead of using a high explosive anti-tank (HEAT) warhead like other anti-tank missiles, LOSAT employed a solid steel kinetic energy penetrator (KEM) to punch through armour.) Upon pondering why this was, I came to the conclusion that gaijin either completely forgot to change it so that the missiles of the LOSAT didn’t explode, it’s a bug, gaijin did it for balance or that gaijin considers that shooting one of the rockets and igniting it’s propellant is enough to make the entire tank explode. My proposal is that you divide the damage model of the missile into 2 parts, that back part is proppelant and will explode if ignited, but hitting the front of the rocket would cause it to break and make the ammo “despawn” or unusable.
