after every update war thunder gets, steam never launches it correctly. at first, it wouldn’t launch the anticheat. not it doesnt launch the client at all. I switched to the standalone launcher, hoping it would be more stable. it launched and it asked me all the questions it does when you first start. and i realize all my progress is gone. almost 7.0 in Sweden. just in the past 20 minutes, the standalone launcher doesn’t launch the anti-cheat. is there any way i can get my progress back?
When you launch via steam you use the steam login, the standalone client uses a Gaijin account and not a steam account. You’ve very likely just created a new account, the account you are writing from here on the forum is also completely newly created.
so how do i get back to that account?
It should auto log you in when you start the game on steam.
its been stuck saying uninstalling for like an hour and and half now. i’ve already tried restarting steam
Try doing a file verification on the game.
