Not sure if you’re aware, the older major patch trophies you can sell for warbonds (25 each). So good to hold on to them and then you can use them if you’re a few warbonds short of something you want.
(I think the ones that are 3 major patch version old can be exchanged for warbonds).
I rather wait for a SL key sell then waste them on warbonds. There is nothing in the shop for me.
I hope you have the patience for eternity :) I don’t think keys (for major patch trophies) for SL will ever happen… (be nice if it did though)
Every time SL crates come,i use all my SL for the duration of them and usually get atleast a single coupon. Last crates i got Moderna coupon i sold for 210 GJN,then bought packs during sale with the earnings. Winter crates i got Tornado MFG on account,AMD.35 on account,coupon for PT boat for 30GJN. Then during Obj.292 event when crates were i got two times Finnish Hawk 75 coupon. So yeah,the SL crates are good,they allow me to buy packs and premium for free.

Fundamentally it all comes down to greed. It’s a predatory way of getting you to throw your SL and potentially real money into a black hole.
I always spend almost entire SL pool I have, so usually around 50mil SL each event. To me the chances seem pretty good, from the 300mil SL I spent in total, I have received around 12 vehicles activated and 2 market coupons. and ofc countless decals and decorations. But I agree on the part that some old event vehicles, or even removed vehicles should be obtainable in some way… New players like me are simply screwed… I really want obj279 because I wasnt playing WT back when it was obtainable, and Im not paying 850GJN for it really…

I analyzed buying lootboxes worth 600 million SL. Chances for getting a vehicle is 0.5%, meaning you have to buy 200 lootboxes to get one vehicle (on average!). So 12 million SL per vehicle. Since you get a ton of SL back from the crates (22%) it is 10 million per vehicle after all.

Now imagine the % for one specific vehicle you want, amongst many others. The rates could also be different between the vehicles.
Pretty sure chances for any vehicle are exactly the same - except for IS-7, for which they published a much lower chance.

Germany 5.7 is a great SL printing lineup.
Or Britain 4.7.
There is a ton of premium vehicles with excellent SL multipliers available for these lineups.
I have 65m SL so far by playing mostly Germany 5.7 and Britain 4.7
I’m poor, but I’ve been using the Sherman III/IV and honestly it’s been smooth. If I need a preset just for SL printing, tiger pack + the panzerbefelswagen VI P could do some good
