I have a decent amount of experience playing a lot of different planes. I’m looking for someone who is a good player to play with and teach me how to be more dominant in the 7.0-9.0 area. I do okay now but I want to get better
What plane do you play, and do you play sim?
I do not play sim as of yet. I play RB. I play a little bit of everything but right now I’m spading the rank 5 us jets to try and get better at maneuvering and position
I see, well as far as RB is concerned it doesn’t really take skill just being in the better aircraft is enough.
SIM is the only game mode where good flying and good ACM techniques are actually important enough to win you a fight.
7.0 to 9.0 is quite an extreme range in terms of aircraft capabilities you’ll meet. There are the high tier-props, slow jets, jets with insane speed and climbing… and then all the ones with missiles… and researchable-only missiles so you don’t know if they have missiles or not. (Missile fighting at this BR is quite different to guns-only matches – e.g. if you see an enemy 4km and steady closure behind you while you’re closing in on someone in front of you, in guns-only that’s less of a problem then in a missile match).
(Edit: I am meaning that while the above isn’t a direct answer to your post, just be aware of the wide range of differences and get the experience in identifying what sort of match it is to know what sort of things to look out for)
Me! I can be your coach, I’m pro trust trust I’m so bad at the game I die to bots in air arcade
I suppose let me rephrase. I know about missiles. I have played everything from reserve to top tier. I enjoy this range of 7.0-9.0. Yes I know very different planes with different skill sets. What is like to figure out is some improved dog fighting techniques to win more 1v1s. I can play missiles fine but could use improvement on positioning and maneuvering
Excluding the missile matches then, do you have some examples of 1v1 match ups that you’re asking about? If you’re ok at lower BRs then it’s kind of similar, just with higher average speeds (but all relative to the other players)
