That’s nothing new.
Using Fw 190 F8 I had to hit Tu-2S with about 30 shells and a few dozen MG bullets before it stopped succesfully flying almost as fast as I did.
That plane is a goddamn flying tank.
The Tu-2 has efs iirc so it can manually put those fires out, but also I started 2 engine fires on a B-17 the other day and the B-17 burned for over 4 minutes, not putting out any fires and not taking any more damage until its wings finally went. Some planes just don’t take damage from fires in certain places.
