IF you are talking about like advertising this post its a free country dude lol
Hey, have you seen the new IRDS system LM revealed for the F-22? Might be worth updating the suggestion with info on it
Once the IRDS system is installed in the F-22, I will update the suggestion’s history and specifications. From what I understand, with the contract recently awarded to LM, the system is currently under development and is planned for integration into the F-22 fleet at some point in the future.
The two small screens at the top are Up-Front Displays (UFDs).
The three large screens are Primary Multi-Function Displays (PMFDs).
The single screen at the bottom is the Secondary Multi-Function Display (SMFD).
The multi-function displays provide various information based on the pilot’s needs, such as navigational data, moving maps, radar, and weapons systems. The pilot can switch between views using buttons or a touchscreen interface on each display. The Up-Front Displays provide critical aircraft information, such as altitude indicators and overall system status.
Crazy to think that with this latest development, there are 3 production F-22 variants we could get in game (each sufficiently different from the rest)
The F-22A is my aviation crush
We should receive the YF-22A (Prototype) first and see how that goes tbh.
They could, it’d be pretty neat especially with the YF-23
I heard that it can launch a missile within 1 second
I heard the F-22 shot down a super stealth balloon.
Given that there is currently a long-lasting bug about the aircraft with IRST cannot launch missiles because the radar lock automatically changes from PD to IR, so I think this bug must be fixed before the Raptor gets IRDS.
Hopefully by the time the late Raptor with IRDS, AIM-260, Peregrine, APG-77v1 is added, that bug will be fixed
Compared to the F22 all aspect cross section of sub 0.00016 and the F35s 0.0015
I would like the source for that being all aspect
The 0.0001 m2 rcs value is the lowest ever possible and that occurs at a area smaller than the claimed rcs itself
The avg value at lowest could be 0.03 no less. That to frontally, This is because the cockpit and the canopy acts as sore thumb in the rcs figure. You cant make your canopy stealthy enough to absorb even 60% of the radar waves. F22 uses indium tin oxide which really isnt the best radar absorber for X band.
For above and below, no jet cant be stealth, the wings will always form 90 degree with radar and hence reflecting a lot.
For rear and for a fighter, your engines will be always exposed the “serrated” / “flat” nozzle is nothing but putting a bandage on a completely broken glass bottle. (unless your fighter is f117 which hides the engines using it airframe but in turn losing like 20% thrust and lose its capability to use afterburner)
We already know the SU-57 has an RCS of around 1.0
I believe you took those number from a patent. that was T50 not Su57, that T50 lacked RAM and radar blockers along with much more exposed nacelle. The production variant of su57 has way lower rcs which i will get back later. And it has a full on average RCS of 0.1 - 1m2 which includes frontal and side RCS (prob not top, below and rear rcs).
The SU-57 is comparable to a clean F18
First of all you wont find a clean F18 in bvr
second of all F18’s 1m2 rcs is its LOWEST RCS
Third that it was T50’s rcs not su57
RCS of Su57 using publicly ram gives a avg rcs of around -14 dBsm (0.05m2). Real life variants are most likely expected a similar or better performing variant of the RAM

We have EF2000 from 2003 so why not F22 from 1997?
The F-15C/E we have ingame is from 2006…
The C is 2003. The F-15E is 2006
we have JF-17 from 2007
Oh baby this is going to be fun actually finding declassified docs on this.
F-22 should do Mach 3.0 and pull 26G…Gaijin provide sources on that…
