Them adding the F-22 solo would be wild, if they do have to add an early variant of the F-22, they should add the T-50-9 prototype along with it.

Nah a really early F-22 could be standalone
Why though? Just add another early 5th gen with it, there’s options.
But why would they add another newer one when the early raptor is the most basic and as such makes the most sense to be standalone and first in game
The only reason I can see one to have this added as a standalone is the want to power creep, there would be outrage.
The Su-57 with DIRCM would be 10x worse for power creep than a pre-2005 raptor
Then they shouldn’t add a Early Raptor.
So they should screw the US out of a significant variant of the first 5th gen just so USSR can get a Su-57?
That’s not what I’m getting at, I only mentioned the T-50 because it would be the only aircraft similar to Raptor in its early kit, they could add some early J-20 as well but I know little about those.
But yeah if it means bringing 5th generation aircraft to more than one nation, yes they should skip the early Raptor.
If early J-20 is PL-12 and 8 compatible then it could work. Su-57 and J-20 should be added alongside F-35 later, the early F-22 can be like the F-14 and act as a transition between late gen 4/4.5 and later gen 5 (but not as good as launch F-14)

Horrid idea, the F-14A addition alone was bad enough, we don’t need stealth jet creep either.
Add two like they’ve done for years. MiG-15 - F-86A, F-4C - MiG-21 etc
So what should come along an early raptor?
I mentioned a T-50 prototype as its closest competitor.
mig-23mld was pretty balanced against it. mig 23mld imo was more oppressive than f-14 on release, that thing had no counters

And do you have any specs? Does it have only the R-73M and the R-77-1? Does it have HMD? Is it comparable to an early F-22 or just outright better?
