Did you actually check the IP had in fact changed?

yep, i tried switching to eu and cis servers after changing my ip address by restarting the router. Sadly it didnt resolve the issue, which appears to be server sided. looking at downdetector for us and other countries it appears to exclusively impact na players

I am also having an issue with this, was working fine yesterday, had a friend log in to check and he also is experiencing the same issue, so this isn’t just something related to our side at this point.

i hope warthunder compensates us NA players for this lost time. My daily objective for today was getting 40 critical hits (i got 39/40 right before servers crapped out) and then i obviously cant participate in great war

With consideration to their track record, I doubt they would extend it, and honestly even if they did I may not be able to get the points in time; which is difficult for us that only have a limited window to do these coinciding with our daily lives… but you never know.

Since the major update, and subsequent ‘fixes’ I feel like we have only dug our holes deeper with issues that keep popping up as well as new ones now, pretty sad really.

Considering how increasingly anti-consumer they’re becoming, I wouldn’t expect any compensation. All you’re gonna get is the corporate equivalent of a “oops my bad” from stona and an immediate post lock. I’d honestly be surprised if they extended the great war event for their screwups.

First they’re dishonest about the doge pack and now this. They’re always finding new ways to stifle any goodwill they garner. Been here for over 10 years at this point, same ole same ole. So disappointing, just want to play.

Support ticket open for 5 hours now, nothing from gaijin? still no luck?

I used downdetector to check any reports from other various nations, seems like US is overwhelming majority of reports, so I doubt they will extend to compensate for those of us in the US, and even if they do, doubt ill be able to utilize the timeframe the extension covers, at least the vehicles are just low tier so not a huge loss, just a bummer.

A side note - upon comparing the graph curve to other things like EA, PSN, etc. they share similar bell to WT over the time frame, so it may not even be a Gaijin related issue but something on our end in the US, idk.

There’s like, a really big storm in the US, and that could easily break routes, or cause network outages in random places causing this sort of intermittent problem.

This is where changing your IP via restarting router could help out, or why you connecting on a VPN makes it work (Not recommended).

Same issue from US West, could play early in the morning

Nope. I’m outside the US and did everything in the troubleshooting link but no luck. I won’t bother raising a support ticket. As usual they’ll just keep stringing me along until the problem magically disappears
