That’s why you should base it off the most concrete evidence which I would say the best source you have currently is the first one.
Will note your comment
How would GLONASS guidance be implemented? Is there anything in the game like this already?
As someone above said, if the documentation of how it works is too rare, maybe we should stick with adding more “conventional” stuff.
GLONASS/GPS would most likely be treated like IOG for a missile with a TV seeker
Yeah fair point but its hard to go from something like the Vikhrs to something crazy like the Hermes-A. The jump would be too large. Plus helis are not even meta right now and Germany, France, Italy and Israel all have FnF ATGMs.
Incorrect, LMUR can be used in a fire and forget mode as well.
I don’t know what I’m incorrect about? Please tell me
The missile doesn’t need to have NLOS capabilities, it can be implemented like current fire and forget missiles.
The Spike NLOS is a type of spike missile which is what I was referring to
exept the NLOS have like 2 or 3 times the range of the LMUR, plus you can carry far more of those, this missile is pretty much equivalent to the ER2 not the NLOS.
Also it has a HEAT Warhead unlike the LMUR
i mean depending on how much explosives does gaijing give it, it could be more reliable than the spikes warhead, a 25kg warhead, using the AS20 as a reference, would have a 9 kg of explosives, now if they give it A-IX-2 it could be around 14 kg of tnt, thats actually pretty lethal.
We will probably see them soon now that helis with Spike are going to 12.3
LMUR loft
LMUR flies a distance of 15 km in ~1 minute
The Spike ER 2 is reported at 10km range while LMUR has 14.5km. I know the NLOS has 25km but you also also remember the Russians have the Panstir
Those are values are from ground launchs on helicopters the range of the er2 is 16km and for the nlos is 50km… so, it is comparable with the er2.
You also have to remember that the other nations doesnt have it and at least another nation could currently counter the LUMR at maximun range, while no nation could counter the NLOS…
Recently a video appeared where the LMUR missile flew 23 km and hit the window exactly. The video was published by the pilots, but it was blurred (the numbers), so I don’t know if it was true
what channel did you find this video?
It is mentioned three times on this channel that the new LMUR modification is launched from a distance of more than 20 km. There is a video of the target being hit from a distance of 21km and 23km but without confirmation
