In the last update Gaijin “updated” TGP’s for many US planes to Sniper ATP with no option to keep old one.
Why does this bother me? Bc Sniper doesn’t suite well for War Thunder gameplay. For quick info - Sniper has 20-147x zoom while Litening II has 4-49x. Min zoom being 5x times less than on Sniper makes it much easier to use. And LANTIRN that was used on F-15E had 12-44x, not as good as Litening II but I think some people would still prefer it over Sniper.
I find it very difficult to spot planes on A-10C in Sim with Sniper due to lack of wide FoV(min zoom) and even in RB considering how close A-10C flies to battlefield its much harder to spot tanks with Sniper ATP.
I suggest that Gaijin should return old TGP’s as an option for player to choose and modification that unlocks TGP should unlock all TGP’s that plane can carry - not just the specific one like Sniper ATP.
Why remove certain weaker ordnance when strongers ones get added?? Never understood that. They should make one modification for both. Use what you like
Set your mouse wheel to control Zoom, you can then zoom in as much or as little as you want. I was having the same issue on the Apache and Litening III.

But I do agree, its dumb to replace something instead of just adding it alongside
I don’t think that this helps him. You can’t go lower than the minimum limit of the Sniper. You can’t have an overview of the battlefield from that close, as you could’ve had with the Litening
And here is another sad bug: This axis setting is useless from some people including me, on both planes (usually not so severe a prob) and helis (severe)
Also still no Sniper for British aircraft, Gr7 could and did carry it. FGR4 has been cleared to use it and Tornado GR4 performed a demonstration flight with Sniper
Yeah, good that they fixed that, but I’m not really bringing many Agm-65’s in Sim + F-16C doesn’t get any benefits from Sniper so Litening II still has some major benefits that it can’t be just replaced.

Sorry, what does navigation FoV means? You mean that Sniper can have better min zoom? It’s just that from what I understand Sniper simply doesn’t have wide FoV option like Litening II has, its more focused for very long ranges.
