The Lightning F.6 is a supersonic aircraft, with Insane climb rate, that is impossible to catch in BR 8.0 arcade matches (If you don’t believe me, you can always try, as I already wrote, to beat it with a Fiant G.91 (pre-series). So it is extremely difficult to be shot down unless the Lightning F.6 player is a monkey brain.
I mean sure thing, but again it’s just one example of an entire category of 9.3 aircraft… which also includes the early MiG-21s and F-104s, for example

compression does not affect the lightning, it is equally performing as any other 10.0 airframe. It in fact outperforms most of 10.0 airframes.

Mantis complains that a plane that is clearly worse than the CL13B has to share br with the demon yet somehow he forgot again, cause forgetting and just answering like a kid is all he does.
I have no complaints about the F-3H Demon, it’s a fantastic enough plane even stock. It follows the meta, has good guns and even stock still has more thrust weight ratio than non afterburning 9.0s while having good nose authority to negate rate fights. The lightning is even better and despite having worse missiles it has a 10.0 airframe so it can make up for it. It also can one-circle the mig19.

if this was actually true the lightning would have crashed because it was pretty likely getting on a steeper dive than the flydubai 737 max that got hijacked yesterday. I critted it’s tail, but still had bullshit magic enough to outpull my sabre from above after recovering and still even pull away after nearly hitting the ground. “Hard to aim” and “brick” i guess.

Most supersonics at and above can go past supersonic at sea level anyways. What’s so remarkable at being able to go fast on the deck? Shouldn’t you be climbing?
Imagine claiming to be a fighter player and not realizing the airbrake exists. Again, literally all your stats bar the F-5 are worse than mine. You’re not as good as you think you are.
Speed isn’t an issue when my 9Es still catch F-104s and su-7s flying away full speed.
It is true.
Its basically 50% engine, so a hit to the fuselage often start engine fires or at least damage the engines. It has a giant tail that easily gets blown off, its wings are short and single piece and so you cant limp back to base with a partial wing like you can on a lot of aircraft. It has a moving tail plane (Or whatever its called) for the elevator and so that is really easy to shoot off.
When you factor in a high stall speed as well, keeping it airbourne with damage can be a chore and exceedingly hard to land.
The Lightnings cannot take a lot of punishment, and even if its still flying, it is massively weakened.
And yes, it is hard to aim, it has 30mm ADENs some of the hardest guns to aim, in an awkard low mounted position where you have to correct for said position when firing, on aircraft with pretty poor nose authority. (and given you just made a post complaining about the 30mm ADENs on the CA-27… you cant exactly claim they are good on the F6)
At 9.7 you have the Jaguar GR1, which whilst slower than the Lightning, has 2x 9Gs instead of the Red Tops, and a much better overall FM for dogfighting in. There is no way the F6/F53 can move up to 9.7 within the current compression.
Quite frankly, you should be complaining about the Mig-21s, those are faster and more agile.
