Lets talk about the state of Germany

What is AMAP? AMAP stands for Modular Protection System.

The first Leopard to have this was the Leopard 2 EVOLUTION Demonstrator from 2008 and the 2A4M CAN was upgraded shortly after.
The protection level of the 2A4M CAN is on par with the 2A7+, but Gaijin won’t give us that.

Edit: the 2A4M CAN also had an electric turret drive, but I suspect Gaijin will stick with the hydraulic one.
The tank will end up the same as the Leopard 2 PSO TVM

The majority of people in this game have no clue how to play. I’m not saying the Legacy Hornet is better at all I’m saying I’m going to enjoy decimating all the German mains who think because they have a Eurofighter it’s an automatic win every time.

Nah Typhoon would outclass everything
Its TWR would make it the fastest climbing aircraft, that can then outdogfight everything in game
Including the Gripen and Viper.
Its reduced RCS 0.5 Sqm compared to 5sqm for a Block 50 F-16

And it has an AESA Radar and IRST system. Ya’ll have no idea how good even Tranche 1 Typhoons are

Advanced Modular Armor Protection, and in this case the model that would have to be mounted is AMAP-B in this case the armor the 2A4CAN has is not derivated from the compaby IBD Deisenroth Engineering, but from KMW wich means this upgrade is not AMAP-B, it’s probable that this armor was meant to fit future models of some composite developed by KMW but not AMAP, AMAP looks like this

that ones wrong, their is no aesa radar in active service yet. Only a small one for export, but neither of the developers have their aeasa radar installed yet

You are right, i forget this aircraft has been around for 20 years!

It seems Britain have started to test the new Radar how many they will upgrade remains to be seen.

again not quite, they installed the first test radar, with preparations for the first maiden flight in the end of the year. Its by far not finished

Can i expect from this good level of protection ?

This depends on gaijn

Sounds like it will be bad. Ok fine.

The buget is allocated and the global uncertainty there would be no reason not too.

again, the radar isnt finished yet. Once it is finished it will be put into the typhoons, but in the timespan of such projects 1 year is nothing. It propably will need like 2 years until series typhoons will be equipped with actual aeasa radars

Now we know the only reason why Germany directly received the 2A7V (broken), skipping other variants such as the 2A6EX or the 2A7.

Italy had to receive the 2A7HU…

Meanwhile, in the land of mordor… we need some genuine love.

that’s not bad, what is bad is the fact the 2A7HU has a worse armor model somehow, wich means gaijin didnt even bother fixing it before adding it and instead made it worse

B-Tech internal composites + RPG-7 add-on protection. If they model it correctly, everything at 11.3 will be able to lolpen it :D

They should give it DM53 and put it at 11.0 with the correct armor. Then give 2A4 we have in game DM33 and either keep it at 10.3 or put it up to 10.7

DM53 would already make it op for 11.3 lets not even say 11.0 lol

If it had the correct protection it shouldn’t be a problem. Object 292 is 10.3 with base T80U levels of protection with 695mm of pen. (Yes I know it doesn’t have thermals).

Lmao even. Yeah it would totally be equal to the Mk.3 Merkavas and IPM1 at 11.0.

It currently has KE-W. With DM53 it would easily be fine at 11.3. With KE-W I could somewhat see the arguments for 11.0 to some extend.

MK.3 Merkavas can go down to 10.7 tbh. M1IP has a 5 second reload, better armor, and better mobility (same for M1A1). Again this is if the 2A4M CAN had its correct armor which I doubt it will.
