F-4F aint even the best 10.7, gets obliterated by the F-5E, no contest.
Leopard2A5 Arrowhead contains multiple layers to destabilize incoming projectiles.
2A4M doesnt have that.
look at the above pictures, it states the 2a4m, gets armor compartment insert, for all we know its the 2a5 arrowhead stuff in a kind of insertable contraption
Im not so sure and as far as i know Furina did confirmed that arrowheads on 2A4M contains empty space.
Sometimes pictures are snapshots in which not everything can be seen.
You don’t seriously believe that someone will be allowed to simply photograph classified information. 😂
Why else was Russia so keen to capture the Leo 2A6 undamaged?! 😉
I also don’t believe that the captured tanks have everything that is actually installed.
At best they can mount the additional triangles, but they won’t be able to install the original wedge’s layers (nothing to hold them in place), and they’re the ones destabilising & eroding KE projectiles.
no idea, but they seem to put sth inside if the sources are true
Bro what? You must not play either of the aircraft
I play both aircraft, and I stopped playing my F-4F to wait for ICE to release so spading it gets me RP into any aircraft.
Typhoon’s the last aircraft I get for Germany once it comes.
Dont feed the troll, he switches his stance to whatever you find the most annoying
Ain’t no way you think the F5E is bad
What are you talking about?
F-5E is good. Stop claiming it’s bad.
Case in point. Though his name may have changed, RazorVon continues to peddle his awful takes to make people mad
The interesting thing is what you don’t see.
The AMAP armor is complex and consists not only of the vertical wedges that can be seen in the add-on armor of the 2A5, but also the sandwich plates that are screwed directly onto the wedges, which are missing in the pictures of the 2A4M, but for which the bulges are present.
Since the wedges are only hooked in, the armor can be installed and removed again in just a few minutes.
I can’t describe it any more precisely and the saying goes “the devil is in the details”
In this Picture you can see what i mean → https://fighting-vehicles.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/Leopard-2A5-Tank-MEXAS-Armor-Turret-Side-Rear-1024x679.jpg
Whats up with these shitty flags?
German pride.
Yeah but the 2A5 armor is much diffferent than the 2A4M, the 2A4M is not a sandwich of metal and rubber, it’s just metal, idk if there is any actual added composite behind
@Lord_Prism
Ah yes, awful takes like… F-5E and F-4F are good jets…
Not sure how saying good jets are good is a bad take to anyone, unless they hate those jets.
Good to know you think most of this topic are awful takes tho.
The AMAP additional armor is simply inserted into the wedges in the recess and screwed, which can be clearly seen in all the pictures.
What is also easy to see is that the wedges themselves are only hooked and locked in the tower, which is why they can be easily removed from exhibits, just like other things that are subject to secrecy and this is also done so that such pictures do not appear on the Internet land like the wedges from the Leopard 2A5.
