Large bomb?!! 2500kg is not a large bomb and it’s not about being regulated to one aircraft the FAB 5000 is only given to the Pe-8 bc it’s the only bomber that used it and the 12000 Ib and the 8000Ib is give to two variants of the Lancaster bc they are the only bombers that used them, other bombs like the AN-M56 (2000kg) are given to both B-29A-BN and A2D-1, SC1800 is given to every bomber that can carry it, FAB 3000 is given to IL-28, IL-28Sh, H-5, Tu-4,Tu-14T and Yak-28B, this is no excuse for not implementing a common ordinance we have useless armour piercing bombs in game that no one use but we can’t have this.
Not to mention the pumpkin bomb that is still missi
ng till this day.

It gets bodied by all but the worst plane it can possibly face in a full downtier, its literal only claim to fame is the AMRAAM, which arent even unique, and xan easily be defeated with the multipath hypercrutch, making them largely irrelevant.
Its DOA. The fact thwy had it at 12.7 is a bad joke.

The main takeaway from this is that we’ll have to wait another 1-2 years until they even consider un-gimping the Leo 2A7V’s hull (and turret) armor. That’s if they don’t hit the last acknowledged bug report on that matter with the classic “not a bug”.
Yeah knowing Gaijin’s irrational hatred for anything German we’ll probably have until the end of the year for them to fix the 2A7 because they probably felt like it. It took them 2 years to implement AHEAD ffs.

And then I will use the Phantom with its research bonus and suicide bombing bombs to research the Eurofighter.
And that will certainly work in 2 years, because by then the Phantom has suffered enough until the snail shows a little mercy and after a year the Phantom got its Aim L(i) and slipped to 12.3 in the BR.
now that we have 2A4CAN at 11.3 with 589mm penetration, L2PL should get a new shell.

No, we don’t know why they said that in the first place. It might be referencing of some armour components, but the armour is not equal to the 2A7V.

does this mean the gepard (1a2) might get modern ammo as well?? (APFSDS for self defence and F/APDS for anti-air use)? even if it were pushed up in br, bc the roland and roland-but-on-a-truck do not look amazing rn, I’d take it.
I don’t think they are implementing the actual shrapnel yet, it’s just a really weak HE-VT as far as I can tell.

I don’t think so, there have been discussions about this in the past but the Gepard doesn’t have the coil induction programming in its muzzle to actually fire AHEAD rounds, but since this is proof that they can make AHEAD work we might see the Skyranger 30 or 35 :)
Yeah I was thinking about this, if anyone has the dev server installed they should try and see if there is actually shrapnel, but my guess is that it’s the HE filler that is doing the damage.
Why would aim9l boost the f4f straight to 11.3 when it’s still completely inferior to something like the viggen d or 23ml? I could see 11.0. Hell, since its still 11.0 in sim, it could use them.
