Germany started the development for the leopard 3 with 130mm cannon
Take a guess what the new concept proving ammunition is gonna be called.
If you guessed DM 13 you are right, the HE is DM11 as well and the first real round is gonna go back to the good old DM23. And thats all for the 130mm caliber xD

The just how the naming scheme works, every new calibre starts from the beginning. DM = Deutsches Modell, first number indicates the series/version, second number indicates the type. 1 for HE, 2 for HEAT, 3 for AP etc

Type-10 also suffers from same issue.
It looses too much speed when turning, as for the recovering, thats entirely Gaijin’s fault due to not introducing regenerative steering.

Definitely agree man, though at least the type ten is a fast mofo and does gain it back faster.
That’s the case for all “heavy tanks”. Gaijin had promised us differential steering to rid us of the issue of tanks being too unmanouverable, and yet, it it nowhere to be seen.

Again agreed. Look at say the M103 , Tiger 2 (god forbid the heavier german tanks) they turn into fking slabs when they so much as turn.
It’s probably time to resurrect this thread from the grave.
What happened? Was the German lineup really too strong?
Did they have to turn the Leopard into a repair trauma machine? Was it necessary to nerf the EF2000’s only advantage (its maneuverability in cornering combat), even though it (even after the patch) has abysmally poor radar and, compared to other top-tier jets, the worst air-to-ground armament?
And the Tiger UHT? Did they really have to give the French (who never had it in this form, not even the PARS) a better version?
I’m astonished, and I’m taking this as an opportunity to take a break from my German lineup.

Still, why did they get our heli? They never opted to use it, neither the Osiris optics nor the Pars. Would be nice if we’d get a french heli with Spike and autocannon in our TT, just to make it mutual. But no, German Tiger Heli is our top tier TT heli since years and nothing ever gets added. If others get prototype after prototype, why can’t Ger? Our heli tree is static since years!
They also have our Leopards and Marders, whats next? French Gepards?

Does it really matter where it comes from? Fact is other nations get all our stuff. Sad that the French Tiger UHT is far better than the German one. Could as least given Ger Mistrals as well. Devs have really a heart for minor TT nations. First Sweden and now France…already two Germany 2.0 nations. Well forgot about Italy with a better Leopard 2A7 and whatnot. Make it 3.
But my question is serious: When France gets a Tiger UHT, why can’t ger get another top tier heli from Fance? That one with Spikes? Would be the first top heli addition since many, many years. Why can’t it work in both ways?

They already added as premium minus Spike missiles.
Tbh they could’ve added Spike missiles and it would’ve been a great premium.
havent you heard? ppl were hasking for them to model the t-series autoloader, so obviously they added a turret basket to german and american tanks. all to please the player base.

Spikes unfortunately could not be added. That would make it top BR (12.0 for helicopters) and we do not have top BR premiums.
Hellfire II are garbage. I tested the new prem heli, but its just not sustainable. Laserlocks are a thing from yesterday and don’t work at this BR. Also there is no ground lineup to support an 11.0 Prem heli. Thats crucial. The heli should be either 10.7 or max BR. There is so little in between that it makes no sense, also see the ASSTA Tornado at 11.3 or something. Same issue.

The difference between top BR for researchable and premiums is only a 0.3 BR when it comes to ground, helis and naval

Is there even any reasons to avoid top BR premiums at this point?
not like it makes a difference since 13.0 planes are facing 14.0 planes + 11.7 tanks are facing 12.0 tanks most (all?) of the time eitherway
