Let's discuss the current state and future of the Chinese faction

Leo’s with a leo2+ esque armor package (2a7, 122) are all basically the same tank with the same weakspots. There’s no real point in separating them. If you really wanted to, the yeah 1 is the 2a7HU, 2 is the 2a7, 3 is the 122B+ etc. But for practical purposes, they play the exact same, so I lump them together.

Yes, but the armor of 122B is better than A7. The shells are slightly inferior to the A7. I don’t know how to collectively refer to them.

Damn, we lost the Leopard2 SG, which isn’t really good news, and it would be nice to play it with less time and money - alas, I know you guys just want the Japan faction to get it.

Nah Leopard should go to Germany

Regarding this question, I think you should ask KraussMaffei to sell the Leopard 2 all over the world, haha.

I can predict that it is only slightly better than the Leopard 2PL. It won’t have a good performance.
this just A4.

Yeah it’s not even a competition and I’m not sure why people keep saying it.
It goes:
1-2a7v
2-2a7hu
3-strv

Or 1 and 3 switch if you prefer more armor and less thermals/dart.

Then it’s either Abrams/BVM which is map dependent on which one is better, and type 10 next, or type 10 above if you prefer mobility and an insanely fast reload.

Japan will be the next nation I grind because most of my faults seem to be that split second before my 5 second reload hits where a tank I side penned is somehow able to have a working turret ring, breech and crew. Turns to me and shoots me, if I had 4 second reload my problem would be solved.

I won’t play it until gaijin fix its armor and anti-caving liners.Very simple.

While I do think Singapore would be better in Japan rather than China it would still be nice to see a different subtree for China. There is plenty of interesting options to choose from, is it’s only a matter of time.

It would also be nice if Gaijin stopped pretending Chinese tanks were worse Russian ones and fixed their armor and reloads.

We do not want overpowered or underpowered 99A and VT-4A1, we want realistic ones. If one were to browse through the forum they will find that CN community is hard at work finding sources and hoping that Gaijin will listen.

Right now 99A is only a model. Good to look at visually, but unfortunately has many things wrong about it.

Overall, the Chinese military is pragmatic and unlikely to serve in large numbers in games like the fantasy 99A

And they would say “6.0 mannual vs 6.5 autoloader is unfair, buff the bvm pls”

I do hope it does, but apparently Gaijin’s idea is “since Chally3’s ammo rack is somehow similar to Leopards, then we would just keep their reload the same”

German mains might have to watch France getting All these Leopards(A4-A6) in the next major update, and can do nothing about that.

BTW, Dutch is getting A8 in the future.

It has been very clear that the Singapore faction is just a rumor, and I can only infer from Gaijin’s live broadcast in China that the Chinese subtree is being produced, and I don’t know which countries are there.

For the future subtree of China, I think that Pakistan and North Korea are not enough, neither of these countries can be anything that can be used as a top tank (maybe Pakistan’s VT4 will become something worse than the current VT4A1), and the air defense of the Chinese TT will have to rely on itself. In the absence of new top tanks for the future of the Chinese TT, Pakistan and the DPRK cannot replenish this.

That’s why Chinese faction players want to get Singapore or something else (please don’t get into politics, please), the Leopard 2SG/RI can be used as a new addition to the top tank, and the Japan faction lacks the most low-level vehicles, so countries like Myanmar, Laos, and Cambodia are very suitable, and Thailand can also supplement some mid-to-high-level vehicles. China’s low- and medium-class vehicles, North Korea or China itself, can make up for it. This is just a personal opinion, and if you disagree, please don’t get excited.

Japans biggest issues are how their defense industry post WWII is just too small. This results in a techtree for air that past rank 5 is way too small and for ground lacks the options that other countries have.

For WWII Japan has a lot of options, at the time they had a very powerful military, it is post WWII in the high level vehicles that Japan needs support.

China in theory has their strong point past WWII, particularly past the late 90s where their defence industry really started to grow. They would normally need the most support at low level, where their options are lacking.

However since many top tier Chinese vehicles seem incorrectly modeled, this doesn’t work as it should in game.

I don’t believe Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia are fitting subtrees for Japan, since these are generally Chinese allies instead. I also don’t support the addition of Singapore and Indonesia in the Chinese tree.

However you are bringing up a good point in saying that the way things currently are modeled China needs additional support at the high tiers of the game, specifically MBTs.

Perhaps we can find another possible nation that can be added to China and help there. I have heard Iran as an option thrown around, perhaps that might help.
A combination of Iran with Pakistan, Bangladesh, North Korea, Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia for the Chinese tree does seem very capable.

Though I believe there should still be a push to fix Chinese domestic vehicles, since many struggles such as the lacking armor and long reloads on MBTs don’t seem to reflect reality.

The best tank in Iran is just an imitation of the T-90M, and in the best case it is just an extra T-90MS, and there are no substantial changes. That’s why Chinese players are obsessed with Singapore, which is not a greed, but a helpless choice. If the VT4A1 and ZTZ99A are good enough, then it doesn’t matter if there are top-of-the-line tanks from other countries, but, alas, the repair problem of Chinese tanks has not improved for a long time. Alas, I thought… Perhaps most people are tired of the chatter of Chinese players.
