Yeah in that case probably the last updated messed it up yours as well. I mean i use all those (also tried without) and now, nothing helps. Gotta wait for the devs to figure it out.
Even if it’s on a laptop 82°C in warthunder holy
So, tried my laptop, annoying FPS drops there, just like on my Xbox Series X. Lowest temperature is 85°C now.
Compared to inZOI, 74°C at most on highest settings with also SmartZOI enabled. For the people who dont know about this game, its usually a lot more demanding than WT
From what I’ve seen, high temps are caused by a heavy single core load (in my case CPU core 2)
When using HWinfo only my core number 2 was at 80%, pulling close to the maximum power consumption for a single core.
The game seems to not rely on multi-core advantage.
That’s quite normal actually. Games mostly utilize one core and offload the “unimportant” workload to others. That’s why it is important to assign the game only to performance cores in intel. My game utilizes core-1 so i overclocked that one as well. Also helped a bit.
yeah, game is using core 2 on my system too. What I found out is that when stutters happen, this core is usually maxed out or close to max.
i’ve tried everything and only underclocking gpu helps with the stutters. Before update i ran oc on gpu and everything was fine.
Please feel free to add a click on “I have the same issue” on @ZarathustraE 's bug report if you have not done so already 👍
I recorded a video of one match but here it is too big to upload so i created a reddit post, here is the link:
As you can see, the lows are incredibly low, for a 120fps, lows should be around 80fps, that is at least what i am getting in Dota for example. 25fps is just ridiculous. And there is a lot of jumps up and down with the GPU below 100% utilization so my guess is that this is either a VRAM leak or CPU related.
I noticed that CPU is drawing too much power without full utilization, suspecting a cache problem. I used to have stutter problem in simulators with VR after certain time of playing in a map. The game would start stuttering while GPU utilization decreases and simply restarting the game would solve it briefly. Now it is constant, the game is certainly not optimized. As a matter of fact, it is beyond that, it is flat out broken.
Edit: uploaded a better video
Do you use nvidia dynamic super resolution?
I used to use it, it definitely looks much better but since i play mostly simulators with VR, i dont use it anymore. How come?
Just asking, because i am using it, and i think most players dont.
Yesterday I even got a graphics driver crash while playing…
Yeah an almost crash also happened to me a few days back. It kicked me out to deaktop but then game came back. I hope they solve this issue fast. Although, i doubt that it is their priority.
Aaaaand here are the memory leaks!
7 FPS if you turn on RT after about 5 minutes of battle while the regular is about 150
Disable RT and poof, it works again
Another report of Temp issues, I asked him to come over to this thread too:
And the second post/reply to the OP’s thread from above:
Stona. Please fix it. I lost 90 FPS, I’ve never lost so many fps in any update
I haven’t really lost FPS in this update since I cap it to my screen refresh rate but I feel like there is more micro stutters. Not terrible but there weren’t any until now.
9800X3D
9070XT
64GB of RAM
at 3440x1440
using Vulkan
Locked at 116fps ??
Definitely not related to VRAM since you have 4gb free, my guess is that you are highly CPU bound (a lot of moments in the video where 1 core of the cpu is maxed) and stutters are much more frequent when CPU bound (if we compare it to a GPU bound scenario)
The problem is that the 14600kf is a very capable CPU and it shouldn’t struggle this much, I really don’t know what’s happening…
Hello @Stona_WT . I play tanks, planes, and ships. In tanks and planes, my FPS returned to normal, and in tank and plane battles, the GPU works at ~98%. However, in some naval battles, the GPU only works at 50%, and I have 100 FPS less.
Update/bug report closed. They are requesting specific steps to provide more information if the issue is still ongoing (not sure if I am still having stuttering after the latest patch, I will keep a close eye on my results.) Quote from Bug Report:
Bug Reporting Manager:
If this issue is still relevant, please make a new report in the Performance category providing all necessary files, including unedited screenshots made by game, log and replay file.
- If you are experiencing FPS drops or other performance problems, it is necessary to create a performance log.
- To create such a log you will need to start the game, enter a battle and press left ALT+F11 to enable or disable the log recording. When the profiler is enabled, the message “Profiler enabled” will appear at the topleft corner of the screen. At the moment of performance drop you will need to mark the time in the log by a single press of the F11 button. After that, in the folder with logs “Folder with game.game_logs\” will appear a file with the extension .dap, which should be attached to the report.
- If the profiler is launched (Alt+F11), spikes are created in the spikes-date_time.dap; pressing F11 creates - ring-datetime.dap
- ALT+F11 may conflict with some overlays, in this case it is recommended to either temporarily disable the overlay or remove the ALT+F11 combination from the overlay settings.
