So far the only thing we know for sure about the M1E3 is that it’s going to be too expensive to package as a SEP upgrade and that the primary concern is going to be weight savings and logistics footprint reductions. There’s a couple different ways they can achieve said weight savings, but that’s probably a discussion for elsewhere.

It’s almost like the SEPv2 is a sad excuse of an addition so all the sane people went to other trees to grind actually good addition.
Coupled with the 2A7V being 10x better than the best US tank, the SEPv1.
i never said that the 2a7v is bad, but spall liner wise the T-90M is just as bad with gimped frontal and even more side protection then the leopards, he conveniently leaves that out of course, Gonna give the chally a pass because they 1. either only get them frontaly or 2. are missing them in the turret.
But just blaming leopards is wrong ignoring once again, that sweden is the main problem not germany

This whole situation is a mess, and I have no idea how they’re going to address it.
I doubt they’re going to outright remove the spall liner mechanic, and I also have a difficult time seeing Gaijin raise the BR of vehicles equipped with spall liners, leaving many nations without a top-BR MBT.
They’ll likely be working on implementing more spall liners for the vehicles that had them historically, so it’ll only become a bigger problem at lower BR’s too.
