Not whole ASEAN, is just the “western part” of ASEAN only.
What a stupid reason… If this the case then I can said all Chinese are originally Homo Sapien, so they have close ties with Japan/US/etc…

I don’t like the nationality argument, a more logical thing to state would be ROC’s ties (especially early on) with Singapore.
That alone, in my opinion, makes China a better pick than Japan ever could be. Israel and UK though, that’s up to developer.
I agree, that’s a very viable argument. Singapore to Japan was just a piggyback of ASEAN and that is not likely to happen. Singaporean’s I talked to don’t mind Japan but seem to prefer Israel. That would somewhat help the tech tree.

I would say it was either Singapore or Indonesia for Japan, and developer went with Indonesia. Both at the same time seems unnecessary to me.
Israel is a decent option, and we could probably cross UK out as they really are no short of (possibilities) of getting foreign equipment via 3rd party nations at this stage. Lastly, it’s more of a personal thing but I’d really like to do ROC/SG lineups.
All I hope at this point is they make a good decision.

Agreed, after all the SAF is modeled after the IDF, Singapore should go to the Israeli tech tree and there shouldn’t be any argument about it.
Pretty much any Singaporean I know prefers any option but China.
But I do agree that Israel would be the best choice for everyone and its also a widely accepted option in the community as far as I can tell.

Highly disagree Singapore isn’t going to be in Japan and the vehicles will be when they fit likely going to be in Germany or Israel

since singa pore is gonna get parted out like canda and austarilia i could see this in german tree or a sqaudron of sorts
I personally hope it’s Israel since that’s more likely the place for domestic Singaporean vehicles eventually and that way there’d be mpre of them together. I just don’t like split nations.
Plus Germany has plenty of options for Leopard variants including the Leopard 2 Revolition that the SG was based on, while Israel could really use the help.
Im in the other boat I’d like to see it within Germany just because it makes more sense then Israel imo and all the leopards better can never be too many

Yeah that’s fair too, I just like seeing nations represented so splitting them and making national lineups impossible just seems like a major missed opportunity to me whenever it happens
Kinda what’s going to some nations that equipment doesn’t all fit in one place imo better to add it then not even if its split between trees
