Looks useless. Even more when I consider that there aren’t any suszeptible ATGMs on that BR bracket.
It wouldn’t that useless if Gaijin extended its detection range, at the moment it can only detect an atgm/agm coming at it from almost point blank, if it was several kilometers instead you’d get time to pop smokes against AGM/whatever.
There’s a report in but as usual with gaijin it will be implemented in a year if lucky, maybe never.

For a long time, Germany had nothing even remotely close to the strike capabilities of the USA and the USSR in the game. Nevertheless, that didn’t stop the developers from constantly adding new aircraft. Now, no one except the USSR has anything even close to the Kh-38 missile—so what did the developers do? That’s right, they added another platform capable of carrying six Kh-38s. So don’t tell me that other nations need to get something similar before the 2A8 can be added.

I would love the Leopard 2a8 to be added to War thunder, just I would like it to be in the swedish and the German tech trees

Sweden has its own MBT family. I doub’t its needed for Sweden. They don’t use it, Finland doesn’t use it. Leopard tanks are already too much copypasted to several nations. No need to worsen the issue.
Maybe because Sweden make contract to buy Leopard 2A8 as Strv123B. But no production Leopard 2A8 exist now, so not a problem for at least two year.
Thats true, its still 1-2 years for Bundeswehr. Longer for the others. For now is just the base A7 with Trophy in service at Bundeswehr, which could be ingame. Or the full A8 pre-production tank, but Ger usually doesn’t get factory models, unlike other nations.
