If I remember correctly, these photos are of the Leopard 2A7+ Demo, or I could be mistaken and it’s actually the Leo 2 PSO-VT, the predecessor of the A7+ but a direct improvement on the Rheinmetall PSO demonstrator from the game for urban warfare, It also fits the prototype line, certainly the TVM, TVM Max and EX prototypes also fit the bill, but in the case of the TVM, it would be below the PSO (first-generation sights for the first prototype and a shorter barrel like the 120mm of the A5/A4), since the A5 was derived from it, It would be interesting, but it wouldn’t be a good backup for the Leo 2 A7V; On the other hand, the A6EX versions and the A7+ demonstrator could be later than the PSO from the game, but with different approaches in-game, In short, the A7+ demonstrator would move like the PSO but with a longer barrel, better thermal imaging and a better machine gun for hunting drones and better survivability on urban maps, while the EX prototype it would move more like the STRV 122A/B, it would move better on hills and open maps that allow hull-downs, either of those 2 could be a good backup to the A7V, certainly now I am looking forward to a line Leopard demonstrators, until reaching the KF-51 Panther 2022 version and its 130 mm cannon.

I see, thank you for the information, it’s because of the joint effort with the Netherlands, even so, that armor kit could help us, I just hope Gaijin doesn’t take too long to give us leopards with the APS armor kit.
Nope had nothing to do with the dutch other then they were originally using the leopards and it’s not really a upgrade compared to 2a7V it’s actually worse

That’s the same as PSO we have in game 1st Gen gunner second Gen commander iirc and they would be good backups due to armour. Its why the base 122 is still relevant.

I’d rather see the 2A8 in the main tech tree and the 2A7A1 as an event vehicle.
The 2A7A1 works better as a sidegrade as it’s basically a Trophy retrofit on an older Leopard configuration. It gives APS but it does not really represent the next main German Leopard standard after the 2A7V.
Well 2a8 solves this question. Germany should receive a top-tier MBT with APS in the same way the US and Russia did, not a downgraded armour package just to say Germany also has APS. We can accept that no dm73 as a balance.
Also in reality, the 2A7A1 is only an upgrade package for older Leopard 2 vehicles, so it is not suitable to be placed after the 2A7V. The 2A8 has known large-scale orders and deliveries have already started, which also shows that it is more suitable than the 2A7A1 to follow the 2A7V as the next-generation MBT.
As the 2A7A1 is newly built and in Production, I would rather want to see it grouped with the 2A7V in TT.
One offs like 2A6EX, 2 ADT or 2A5 TVM can act as Event vehicles.

My baby better not be a event also almost all those vehicles you listed would be perfect event vehicle ATD could be a event but TVM and 2a6ex would fill the gap perfectly below the 2K
So where is a8. if miss this chance, next time we may need to compete t14 with new a8, as gj usually delay German 's vehicle.
As the finished production config of the 2A8 has been showed today, utilizing ODAEON and LWS, I’ll update my suggestion later today.
