Nope, you will continue to have gutted DM11, you will continue not to be able to use IRST lead for your gutted DM11, and honestly, you wont be able to see the helis anyways because the devs are adding MITL for their favourite vehicle type this update, so now the helis can fire from behind cover where you will never see them unless they misplay.

Unless they can verify the image in some way they will obviously not accept an image from an unknown person.

What’s stopping Gaijin from contacting KNDS directly? That way, you don’t need verification.
It doesn’t, i just used it to point out that the sight can’t be the limitation because the number (or extremely close to that number) shows up for the 2A8 even without the sight mounted.
Sadly after several incidents over the last year or so where people fabricated emails and written sources via screenshots in particular, unless a source can be properly verified, it can not be used as valid materials.
Due to issues like the AASM release speed fake source that later had to be reverted (to a negative reception), the devs no longer wish to take chances on such sources only to potentially undo them again later to greater damage.
Not my intention, apologies if i came of that way. I just wanted to show how easy it is to fake something like that and a denial of a report like that isn’t a bad thing. Had that been accepted it would have opened floodgates that i don’t think anyone here would have wanted open.

Not sure what sort of verification system could be implemented - I am sure photography groups have to use something when they submit to authoritative groups, as do writers/researchers when submitting documentation.
That, or they don’t and everyone is flying by the seat of their pants in the wild west that is AI right now.

There are actually companies that pay regular people money for finding and proving false things and edited images in published scientific papers. It’s apparently not that strictly checked before it’s published depending on the publisher and paper.
In this case, can we conclude that the information in the KNDS brochure is also incorrect? (Considering that the vehicle was nerfed based entirely on this brochure)
I personally don’t think it’s AI. AI is really bad at generating text in images. If it is faked it’s more likely that the email was sent to themselves on a second email that they then replied to through the second email. Then just edit the recipient email through methods i will not divulge but are very easy to do.
But for now there is no proof that it is fake but als ono proof that it’s real. Schrödinger’s email.
