Ah yes, the unverified spec sheet which would be based on a model we don’t even get in game is “credible” but anything disagreeing with it isn’t.
Link to a stock photo on alamy database. Its from Tag der Bundeswehr in June 2026 and shows a Leopard 2A7 with max gun depression. If the assumption of Gajin would be right with that modified breech, this should not be possible. So what is going on with Gajin? And why do they accept this kind of toxic reports without thinking twice?

It’s okay, they’ll ignore that one. Same way they ignore Leo’s depressing over the engine deck and other places. Because “muh safety system”. You see, pictures and other proof only matters when it shows what they want to see.
Hell, even manufacturer specs are “clear marketing lies” when it’s about western stuff.

Well, there’s nothing to be done about it, then. We’ve already had to play with Leopards—which have even less armor than the Strv—for long enough; having to play them now as if they were made of paper is truly infuriating. In their current state, the Leopards offer no advantages whatsoever. It’s patently obvious that they are the worst tanks in the game; they don’t stand a chance, and with armor like that—combined with only -7.4 degrees of gun depression—even playing “hull-down” is practically impossible.
German vehicles are no longer an option for me.
Honestly, I’ll just try to enjoy my remaining days playing the Leopard 2s with their -9 degrees of gun depression before the update drops. As someone who has spent over $1,000 on this game, it truly saddens me to see it come to this.

Don’t forget to consider turn nerf. Combined with the shooting range of the Leopard 2, this will make it extremely difficult for the Leopard 2 to conduct operations in complex terrains.

The Challenger 3TD uses an entirely different stabiliser, vertical drive and internal turret structure… to the 2A7 and 2A8
They went back and nerfed older Leopards, based on a flimsy sheet, one that isn’t even really known and involves a driver thermal camera NONE of these even have including the 2A8?
