I constantly lose 2A7V with hits into the turret center, the gun breech is at super spall mode.

THe UFP is strange. Even if you’re uphill positioned and the angle becomes ludicrously narrow, every shot penetrates this UFP. While tanks with much lower BRs like the A4 would never allow these kind of 1 deg pens.
This makes it very squishy. Not tanky at all, especially when I consider the high loss of mobility for almost no ingame benefit in protection. So much more tons for armor without practical ingame benefit.

Yea, that’s where the cheek armor actually stops.
The Xray model extends much further.
This is because the 2A7V model has a noticeably different turret geometry to all the other Leos and they just copied the Xray blocks over.
One of the two models is horribly wrong, we just have to find out which one :)

The hull spall liners on the Leo don’t work anymore.
Turret works normally as do the side ones on the T-90M

is there any news on the hull spall liner for the 2A7V because atm it does not cover the ammo rack or the driver which seems a little weird

Those are most likely correct. I’ve checked out each and every photo I have from the 2A7Vs driver position, and I couldn’t spot the liners anywhere on the front.
I’m assuming it is because they do not expect the 2A7V to even be penetrated frontally in real life… well, this is not real life, and Gaijin of course has a different set of plans for it.

They already got spall liner 2a5&2a6 kust only have them in the turret
